A friend of mine told me Champs or Foot Locker (one of those athletic stores) at Highland is selling shirts cheap. He wants an OU shirt and almost got one for $15. But if you buy 2, it's $20. So I told him I was down as long as the shirt does not say "University of Oklahoma", but rather something like Sooners Football. We're not gonna get the same shirt, and I'm never ever gonna wear it on the UT campus. This is a wear it in Houston shirt. This is no bet, I am a willing participant. He said he would get me shirt for free if I wrote "Stoops is God" on my UT visor. I refused.
That Deal at Champs is great! My FSU fan friend picked up 2 FSU shirts, I got a Miami one to piss him off and a Notre Dame yellow one.
No. My loyalty to UT supercedes sports or rooting for the better team at the moment. If I were that kind of guy, I'd wear the shirt of whomever was the MNC the past year. Besides, how much money is your friend saving, really? Can't you get a UT shirt instead? Matter of fact, I don't know anyone, sports fan or not, who went to UT that would wear an OU shirt. That's assinine really. If UT had won, would this thought even cross your mind? What if OU somehow loses this year?

I could mow my parents lawn in it. It's not a bad deal for $10. I don't see it as a loyalty issue since I will not wear it on campus, but I would definitely be a bandwagoner. If UT had won, this thought would not have crossed my mind. I'm gonna use my rebate for Nike UT shirts. This is a cheesy Sooners shirt that I can wear on errands. The point is to gather peoples opinions. If the Texas Longhorns handed OU's ass on a silver platter three years in a row, would you be tempted to buy a cheap Longhorns shirt?
I still don't get it? You're basically saying that you're starting to like OU now because they beat us? If you want a cheap shirt, you can get Old Navy T's for like $7. Does this mean we can start calling you a Sooner jockist?
please tell me this is a joke? wear an OU shirt? you can find cheap t-shirts anywhere... why would you degrade yourself as such? i picked up some cheap UT shirts at wal-mart for $5 a few months ago, just to work out in TRAITOR!!!!!!!!
I'm beginning to like OU football so yeah I'd be a Sooner jockist. It's not only cause they beat UT, its cause they're kicking everyone's ass in the Big 12. A part of me says they're a rival hated school from the trailer park state, but another part of me says they're one badass program under Stoops (would it make a difference if the school was located in CA or FL?). I'm just confused. If OU football sucked, I wouldn't even consider it.
