That's too childish What's starting to bug be about the "sweater vest" cut jerseys is that it looks similar to china's....we alreadyhad that chinese theme going with the current ones and I'd want to move on past the Yao era.
josephnicks, thanks for changing it for me. I think that's pretty cool logo. Imagine that "H" logo with rocket sailing across picture is on the home court, I can feel it will be beautiful. Good job! Hopefully, this is one of some logos mentioned in this thread that should be considered in the future.
I'm not feeling the rocket symbols, just brings back the dildo era nightmare. Has someone tried incorporating orbital satellite rings around a basketball and maybe little stars around it? Maybe something like the NASA symbol?
I like these okay, but I'm really not feeling the super wide shoulders. It's just not a very good look, and it seems like the league as a whole is starting to gravitate away from that kind of look. Love the marriage of old-school and new, though. I love these. Probably my favorite thing in this thread. It's like a better version of the current Golden State uni's (Which I also like.) I would love to see what the road version of these looked like.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure teams need to notify the league of any jersey/logo changes one year in advance. So unless the Rockets already have a new look coming, any changes will take effect in the 2012-2013 season.
lovin these. not sure about the yellow number trim but the way these are cut is awesome. i am very tired of the vest style we have. too much on the shoulders.
trying some black,yellow and red color shemes but I dont like it, it looks like either a Germany, Belgium team or Vancuver Canucks : P
I don't get everyone's fascination with black...I think it's a bit overrated when it comes to uniform color. Rockets should stick to white, red and a little mustard and metallic/gray as an accent. I'd be fine if they eventually incorporated the look of the alternates into a main...maybe developed an alternate logo that you could put on the shorts instead of the main (the "R" logo is absolutely everywhere on the court in TC to the point where it's kinda tiring).
I think we should have a voting on the color shemes the results would make it much easier to design in terms of termination and direction of the design
I think it's kinda cool to let people's imagination go wild. Lots of different designs/colors in here, which makes it fun. below the rim -- great job! I really like the yellow around the numbers.. great touch. Also, love how the logo translates to the jersey. josephnicks -- have you thought about not outlining the letter in your logo? I think the basketball should be the only thing that's yellow and it throws me off when I see the yellow extend out of the basketball to go around the H (I believe you had same design with R before as well -- same thing).
