Much respect. Dreamy play after trade even with Gallinari out.

I see them having the same problem rockets are having and that is not having a superstar presence late in games and closing out opponents. Yeah they beat the jazz in a close game but can they do the same against a contending team?

They are athletic and good on D, great mixture of slashers and shooters. They are build for an uptempo-offense and everyone can score/rebound. Think they have a great future.

Honestly, I think Denver's basically a poor-man's Houston team. No stars, no "potential", and a bunch of nice role players who can't play badly enough to tank.

But they're worse off than because of injury issues to Gallinari and stupid contracts to Chris Anderson and Al Harrington. While Wilson Chandler and Afflalo will be looking for paydays when they have some cap room.

I know most Rockets fans don't give a damn about payroll flexibility. But one look at Denver's contract and you'll see why it's nice to have a GM who knows how to stay away from bad contracts.

I really want them to fail, we need them to drop so Pheonix can get in, and we get Phx 1st rd pick..

    Patrick Ewing theory never fails.

    Except with Cleveland.

Thats exactly what I see too. The Nuggets GM obviously will try and package alot of these players in deals this summer and next trade deadline, but these players will not be as valuable as their GM thinks.

Also Wilson Chandler will most likely sign in the offseason with another team and be lost for nothing.

I Like the Rockets chances alot better in the future because of their flexibility, although I do commend George Karl for doing an awesome job there in Denver. I think he is one of the more underrated coaches in the NBA right up there with Adelman.

Agreed. Karl is good at riding waves. I'm not surprised they've started strong with Melo gone because Karl can use that as a motivating tool.

But the Nuggets will taper off eventually.

Karl is a good coach but they have only played 2 road games

Must wait and see how they hold up after road losses

Don't discredit defense and having good point guards.

Arron Afflalo is ballin'. He has no fear. How many buzzer beating jumpers has he attempted and made?

I'm a Rockets fan through and through, but Houston is a poor man's Denver team right now. They're a starless group of role players but they've got younger, better players with more upside in general. And they have a legit center. It's extremely fun to watch and with one move or draft pick they could become contenders again. I love Aaron Afflalo, what a great young defender.

Only thing is they don't have a scorer like Kevin Martin...not even sure if they have a scorer as good as Scola.

They're built the same way as the Rockets are now.
