I was just wondering, because all these people are like, "Well Collier and Langhi arent that bad because they are tearing up summer b-ball." I was also wondering how guys like Francis and Brand did last summer. Did they light it up? Does the fact that Demarr Johnson is sucking in summer b-ball mean that he is going to be a bust? Just curious.

Well, for one thing, KT can do much better....I don't know about Francis and Brand though.....But i think, unless u watch the players, then it's no indication....u might learn that someone's faster or slower, has a better jump shot than thought....stuff like that.....LOL, it would be cool if Collier turned out to be a Dennis Rodman clone (rebounding, not hairstyle)!!! and he has three point range!!!!! LOL!!!!

I think the summer league is a vital part to any rookies development. It gets them adjusted to the "NBA" game, the speed, the athleticism, etc. Also, it gives them a chance to build up some confidence, work on some moves, or develop some chemistry. I remember last year around this time we were hearing about Cutino Mobley tearing up the summer leagues up east with his quick first step and his ability to get his shot off on anybody. He follows that up by having what some could consider a "breakthrough" year in the NBA, so it just goes to show you that a player can really improve their game over the off-season.
