Ok So it's pretty obvious that we need a superstar, we all know that, and just about everyone wants either dwill or cp3 to come to Houston. But I think Lowry has consistently proven to know how to run the offense. I'm not saying that because of yesterday's game, but since he came to Houston. The man will learn and prove that he is more than a decent guard. We don't need a star pg to win a chip. I really think the only superstar we need is Dwight Howard.

A complete center. He is improving his offense by the season and his defense is through the roof already. If we could add him by not
Giving up too much next season ( scola, picks etc) this team can really be a sick squad.

We are literally a center away. A PG is not the answer. Lowry has stepped up, no need for him to put up huge numbers ( even though it would help) all the time.

What do y'all think, all this acquiring a guard bs, na

Martin, lee, dragon and Lowry got this.

We don't need a superstar PG, we just need a superstar. At any position.

The team can't limit itself at this point, not when there's so few superstars to acquire. Get the one you can get and flip the other players.

I guess you can always trade a PG superstar for another superstar though...hard to say what to do without knowing what players we're talking about.

Morey tried going after Deron Williams for a reason. Everyone on this team can be upgraded.

We don't need a superstar, we need a top-tier defensive center. At the center position.

Don't really need a superstar just an above average center.

Not sayin I'd complain about getting Dwight Howard though :)

Why bother when Dwight Howard will be so cheap and easy to acquire?

Agreed with the previous posts. We need something to build around. Right now we have a lot of talent and a lot of versatility but without a superstar at ANY position we're not going to be as structured as title contenders.

I think a "superstar" is not meant for adelmans offense. Ya wed all love to get one but honestly think we can contend for a championship with the addition of a 7-footer!

Depending on how Thabeet develops, i think we got a serious shot in a couple years with THIS roster!

adelman's offense did pretty well with Chris Webber and Clyde Drexler. i think he could work a guy like that in! :)

We really don't need a superstar period. All we need is another dominant presence in the paint. Not saying that Chuck isn't doing well, just that we still need size. Superstars are overrated as has been shown all season. Don't believe me, just check out NY. As you all have seen in the past few games, another 7 footer in the paint would help greatly. I'm hoping Thabeet will be that player next season.

Im not saying a superstar cant play in it. I just don't think its necessary.

I don't think there is anyone available that makes us THAT much better because this offense doesn't require a star.

We just need a shot blocker!

I should have used different wording. What I meant is this offense doesn't require a superstar

Another thing to look at is that no one is tripping over themselves to play with Kyle Lowry (no knock on Kyle), but with a superstar in Rockets uniform the chances of attracting another star or above average player to team up with him is greatly improved. We see how the current era is shaping up with guys joining other stars to form super teams and role players taking less to play with these guys.
