OK who else wishes it was Sunday already? [IMG]

I guess I missed this earlier.... props to Jerry Maguire though for reporting back on Tuesday the Rockets had worked out Gabe Muoneke.

    This from the Sporting News:
    --------------------------

The Rockets most recently worked out University of Texas forward Gabe Muoneke and Georgia Tech forward/center Jason Collier. In a minor surprise, Muoneke measured at just over 6-7, so worries about him being too undersized to be an effective power player seem unfounded.

Muoneke, who attended high school in Houston, has the mentality NBA types crave, but his hair-trigger temper and overly aggressive style of play are definite minuses.

Collier, a 7-footer who started out at Indiana, has the shooting touch the Rockets like to see in their big men, able to go out to the 3-point line with his jumper, but he doesn't have anything even remotely resembling an NBA low-post game and he carries a dictionary so he can look up "defense" and "shotblocking."

Muoneke and Collier are representative of the second-round types the Rockets are looking at right now. They won't begin their serious evaluations until after Sunday's lottery selection process.

When they find out where they will be picking in the first round -- 9th, if everything works out as the statistics say they should -- then the Rockets will start evaluating everyone they think will be there when they choose. And there's always the chance of a trade to move them up in the draft.
