    The Rockets have a chance tonight to get over .500 for the first time all season in Game #63 of the season. What is the latest in a season any team first got above .500?

    The answer ... your very own Houston Rockets. The 1980-1981 Western Conference Champion Houston Rockets, who first got over .500 in game #93, which was Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. That Rockets team played 8 games as a .500 team before that game, and lost all 8. Combined with the playoffs, the 1980-91 Rockets finished 52-51, the worst record ever for a Finals team.
