Seriously? He took a grand total of two shots last night and 5 shots the game before. Also racked up nice assists in each game. He's played like 12 minutes only since the trades and people are already writing him off? LMAO. Talk about a knee jerk thread...

He's definitely still getting the hang of the offense. I didnt think about it at first, since Squid has been a Rocket for a couple months now, but I think we need to give Squid a few more games to get properly acclimated with the way this team is run.

No doubt the dude has talent, he has given us glimpses of his skills, we just need some consistency that will come with time.

It's called an analogy. The Kraken is a giant squidlike/octopuslike mythical beast commaned by Posiden, God of the sea. The term "Release the Craken" refers to a scene in the movie Clash of the Titans originally made in the 70's I believe with a current remake out within the last few years.

All the "Free Will" threads has spurred a "Release the Kraken" reference, hence the squid remarks.

Please feel free to make any further clarifications so RX2012 can understand. If T-Will can't handle the critism of a message board, how is he gonna handle making clutch free throws at the end of a game to win? Jigga Please!

He gets paid millions to play basketball. I think he will be able to cope with a squid reference you Care Bear.

Adelman seriously dislikes "flash" and that's all T-Will basically is (I would love me some flash) but please name one other player on our current roster that's flashy in how he approaches the game. I'm not saying Terrence does this on purpose or anything, he just looks that way when he dribbles, shoots, passes, rebounds, and even dunks the basketball.

It's either that or Rick Adelman is just straight up racist keeping the dark man down (because even Dragic saw some PT before T-Will did after the trade deadline). I do enjoy our winning ways as of late but I watch games hoping to catch some highlight reels on the side also (who doesn't???) :)

Pretty obvious Adelman has no intention to give him a fair shake. I don't know that he can really turn it on or not, but will withhold judgment until I see him get a string of 25+ min games with a green light.

No one in this league gets into a rhythm with a handful of minutes.

i was/am pro-squid playing. we need to see what we have. if it works out, great.

sometimes, thrusting people into a larger role helps them progress. amish boy is playing very well in duke's absence.

if squid doesn't learn to push the ball and initial offense, he will be gone.

I still don't get why members have been so high on Hill and T-Will here in the past.

Coach plays players that can play and that can help. Period.

I was just looking at his tweets; he's calmed down on those. Even before the trade deadline, he was only re-tweeting "Free T-Will" tweets from others.

I just cross my fingers and hope he sticks with the program.

I am not down on Wiliams. He seems to have some useful skills. What annoys me are fans who make the "Where's TWill?" posts repeatedly. It's not like he's proven on the court that he is able to translate his skills into winning basketball and Adelman is hurting the team's chances for winning by keeping Williams on the bench. Right now, his mistakes still outweigh his contribution.

It may change, it may change very soon, and when that comes, I have no doube Adelman will play him more just like he did for with the other young guys like Landry, Brooks and Patterson. Meanwhile, lets not make turn him into the black Spanoulis.

Almost all squid have 10 tentacles. 8 shorter ones and two long ones.

The Squid needs to calm down. Yes, it's an ocean out there filled with sharks (and other critters too numerous to mention), so the temptation is to squirt your way from one rock to another, waiting for a chance to grab something you can handle, but the Rockets need their squid to calm down, stand tall, and set an example for the other squids in the ocean. Sound travels well in the ocean, especially sounds in the lower freqencies, but The Squid seems to ignore his commander. When he was told, "Play within yourself, Squid!" , he immediately proceeded to stuff his tentacles in his mouth and fall on his face. Word from my source on the staff is that they're still trying to pull those feet out of his mouth. Vaseline was suggested, but we traded our supply to Phoenix. We await word on this serious situation.

Everyone knows The Beet's problem. Miller gave him a PEZ dispenser full of Viagra and he ate them all.

I say it all the time, it doesnt count as a turnover in the stat sheet when the ball clangs off the rim.

I really feel bad for the guy, he knows he can play with the best of them yet plays roughly 8 mpg after the trade deadline? I want to say send him to the vipers but he's been there and made his significance be known. I just think if Morey traded for him, clearly he had plans for him to play given he provides players to the team that can help us win now?

Same thing is going to happen with Thabeet, Morey is going to have to trade Chuck away for table scraps in order for RA to give the lanky dude some much needed PT. From the trades and personel currently on our team, I do not see Adelman getting an extension because it seems to me they are not seeing eye to eye. But please if anyone sees it differently than i do please elaborate. ;)
