    Whatever happened to him and the Rockets interest in him? I haven't heard squat about him since last season. Is he still a Dallas Maverick?

    Leon Smith is a free agent. The Mavericks and the players' union worked out a deal to allow Leon another chance with some other team. The Mavs have to pay out his salary, however, over ten years...or until another team picks him up.
