    Huge blow to the Superfriends - Murphy most have had something weighing on him to keep him for joining Miami - better fit for his outside shooting, more minutes.

    That's good because I'd be nervous if Sheed came out of retirement. Shaq, Jermaine and Sheed. Is good for year 2000?

    I was surprised how little consideration the waiver wire got in the press. This kind of thing happens every year! Everyone was freaking out about losing Perkins. He was the only non All-star in that lineup. It is risky to give up a sure thing at center, but so would paying him $9 mil per with his injuries.

    It just wouldn't of been right for a guy named Murphy to sign with the Heat instead of the Celtics.

    bibby shares the same agent as juwan howard.
    agent probably forced heat not to waive howard to make room for murphy. so murphy might as well go to the celtics.

    I understand locking up Perkins but is it just me or do you find it funny they didnt want to re-sign him.Maybe a worse injury than spoken(Jeff Green) Im not sure we'll have to wait a month to findout. Its weird because with Perkins it like he got dumped by his girlfriend(celtics) and married his new one really quickly.But hey nothings worse than a woman scorned.....
