Motels near the Compaq Center

    Hey, I'm thinking about coming to the home opener against the Raptors to see Yao Ming play, and I was wondering if you guys knew of any decent hotels that were fairly close to the Compaq Center. The type of Motel I'm looking to stay is something like a Super 8, Motel 6, or Baymont Inn.

    Also, does Houston have any type of city ordinance on the how old you have to be to check into a motel?

    SCF- Go to "Palace Inn" at Hillcroft and 59. Each room comes well equipped with the STD of your choice.

    I know this isn't a cheap motel.....but the Renaissance right across from Compaq Center is REALLY nice:D

    And the Embassy Suites is right down the road and really inexpensive.
