From around 1:45 to maybe 3:30 yesterday, it was too slow to bear and I switched to chat, which was fine. Except for all the trolls posting bs in chat, that's probably a better format for an event like the deadline anyway. Of course, I think it only had several hundred people, not a few thousand. After around 3:30 I went back to the bbs, but it was a little while before any formatting would load -- it was just text, and still slow. Now, of course, it's running like normal. No better or worse so far as I can tell.
I'm having problems right now, the posts get stuck when trying to submit, and sometimes there are duplicate posts (I guess because I thought it didn't get through and hit submit again).
This just happened to me. I was trying to post in the GARM under the Yao/Thabeet video thread and it's acting up a bit. When I originally submitted my message it froze, then when I went back tried to repost it says it's a duplicate post. It's weird since I can copy & paste the message content, click message preview and then see my original post there in the preview message. Then when I actually click the thread I don't see my post at all.
Still having trouble with the site. Just got a message saying a thread I was posting in Hangout was an invalid thread.
There seems to have been a slight problem with the Clutch BBS database. Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser. An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists. We apologise for any inconvenience.
^^^Got that same message once too. Here I thought the board was quiet but the threads arent updating either.
We made some upgrades this morning, and one of them caused a problem. I think it's fixed, but we're monitoring it and tweaking things as we go.
new user profile, with private convesation? also "quick reply" and community links-"social groups" and a picture album
I'm actually having a hard time repping people. The comment box will pop up but will disappear when I start to type. I think it's only worked once for me.
