    Some posters here don't have a clue. Doesn't matter how many points your man gets. It matters how many possessions he takes up getting those points. Amare hit the jackpot twice with 25 but it cost his team around 35 points worth of possessions to do it. Some fans just don't understand the whole game.

    Let me put it another way. I could run down the court in Martin's place with the other starting 4 members of the Rockets team, and if they threw me the ball and I shot it every possession, I would average 20 ppg in the NBA. Sounds great until you realize that the whole team would be averaging 20 ppg and we would be winless. So, just quit with the Amare scored 25 crap.

    Doug Collins was predicting that the Rockets would make it into the playoffs AFTER the loss at LA to start the season. He said he was really impressed by what he saw with Brooks, Martin and Yao.

    Life sure sucks, doesn't it?

    The best analysts in the last few years, hands down, were Hubie Brown and Doug Collins.

    When JVG predicted that the Rockets would win big this season, he thought, like all of us here, that Yao would be playing. Not his fault.

    Typically Amare scores at about 30% against Chuck and about 90% when anyone else but Chuck.

    I agree, Bill has grown on me over the years but Clyde is almost as bad at announcing as he was at coaching. Bullard is passable, with time I feel like he could be a really good color commentator.

    No matter how bad the Rockets get, I could watch consecutive lottery seasons without a complaint if Calvin was still calling the games.

    He was coming after a major surgery to his foot. He had surgeries on it before. He was(is the most injury prone) player in the league. The Rockets were forced to set limits on how many minutes he could play. He hadn't touched a basketball for a year. How could anyone predict a NBA finals appearance?
    This was apparent before the latest ankle injury. JVG was indulging in hyperbole.

    Honestly, it's not even other teams. Even in Houston, I'd say very few people truly knows the Rockets.

    I always laugh at how SportsCenter portrays Rockets games.

    We blew out the Nets, yet, in their preview for the game, they said "Deron Williams looks for a win on the road" and only showed nets scoring
