That asian reporter didn't seem to care much for Thabeet after he said he was there to replace Yao. Hopefully both guys get some decent minutes on the court so we can see where they are at currently.

 

I had no idea that Hasheem attended high school here in Houston (Cypress Christian High School). Also good to hear that he has worked a lot with Hakeem already, and it seems they have an ongoing relationship.

 

Dragic and Thabeet had great interviews and seem like great guys that are willing to work and play and do whatever they are asked.. both seemed optimistic, especially Thabeet.. I dont know why stupid people call HIM dumb, when they havent even heard him talk or dont know him.. he seems very professional and smart.. idk what the problem is.. hopefully he'll develop into something good.. we all already know about Dragic.. great player.. glad to have both as Rockets..

Not being racist, but the stupid asian guy keeps asking questions about yao, and then ask how hasheems style would compare to Yao's!!?? lol, prolly was with some yao website or something.. but thats still ridiculous..

And Hakeem has/will work with Hasheem!? NICCE!!

I kind of like Thabeet after hearing that interview. Hope he does really want to work hard, cause he has a long way to go.

I know its racist but I lost it when that asian reporter started asking Thabeet about Yao. I mean it was a legitimate question but just with the accent and everything... it was too much.

 

awesome. didnt really care what Dragic had to say. Carroll, i hope he can be patient and positive like he showed in the video, he may need it. Thabeet, LOL he was stumped on the last question. He kinda said some things that were generic and opposite of what ppl say bout him here.

 

If all the Asian media team can do is ask about how things relate to Yao they seriously need to look into scaling back on their presence in and around the other players. I mean I understand if that is the only reason they are there is because of Yao's connection with the team and that may be all their bosses want to be reported on (I'm sure that's all the people back home want to hear, so I don't blame anyone really). But it is annoying to the nth degree.
