I'm waiting for the posts about not playing him when he's a future star.

Cool he will like it down here in the RGV and the team might be getting Mike Harris in late March. Vipers might make it a B2B Champs.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Ish Smith was sent to Memphis as well.

Funny how Memphis slipped him in quietly.

Hmmmm...27th overall pick in 2009. Has a decent outside shot. From Draftexpress:

definitely looks like he's caught between being a 3 and a 4, mike harris- like....that shot looks good though, good range.

I say he should go do to the RGV or another D-League team. No point wasting time here...

The fact that he is a good one on one defender should earn him some garbage minutes in the rotation. Oh yeah, Adelman.

Now that Jeff Adrien signed with the Warriors again, the Vipers are down to eight players once more, even after the addition of Jon Scheyer. They could use another player. Conveniently, Carroll also plays the forward spot.

so who is our backup 3 i hope adelmans plan isnt that BS small guard look...atleats give the man a chance to hoop, besides this season is worthless just like this team and the organization.

    Hopefull starting 5:

    C-Thabeet/Chuck/Miller
    F-Scola/Patterson/Hill
    F-Budinger/Williams/Carroll
    G-Martin/Lee
    G-Lowry/Dragic

Reason I strated Thabeet over Chuck is because according to this trade you get the same amount of unskilled player at the Center position. Both play D but Thabeet has the height(Cant teach). Also you are going to need Thabeet to start because your looking at 3 players who cant play D to save their lives, Kmart, scola, nor bud. So that is why you need Thabeet to block shots everytime those guys get burned. I kinda like the trade because to me Battier was an over rated Defender. So now atleast we have some size in the middle to help those other guys out. As far as the bench goes, well? We have pure Offense. I really like this Dragic guy. He can score and get hot very quick. He also was raised by Nash, something brooks needs.

I know that Bud is going to start, but he really shouldn't. Terrence has been here long enough to get that chance. We all know that he won't though.

Don't put your hopes up, I doubt Thabeet will be starting anytime this season. I honestly don't expect to see him hit the court except for maybe the last 3 weeks of the season when playoffs hopes are done. We are talking about Rick Adelman here, i honestly would like to see him gone after this year, nothign against him but he's interested in making the playoffs and not developing players.

Lateral quickness? Range? Hustle? I'd like to see him get a chance.

Rick Adelman and his damn loyalty to his Starters, I hope Rick doesn't go in that direction and realize right away that Thabeet NEEDS to be our starter Instantly. We already seen enough of Chuck Hayes and he has us under .500. Rick Bettter start Thabeet and throw away his loyalty in the dumpster.

Adelman is going to try and win games.

Chuck is playing well, Thabeet doesn't know how to play.

It is obvious which one he should and probably will play.
