I love me some ashley(cupcake girl from HIMYM). She is the only reason I watched. She has gotten way tooo thin though. Will watch a couple of more episodes before damnation.
It made my auto record list simply for Summer kicking tush again (lord this woman needs a show to stick - dang you FOX for cancelling Sarah Conner Chronicles!) Need more Summer! As for the actual show, I enjoyed the first two hours. It wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't horrible either. I like the little kid.
I was looking forward to it... then I watched it. It SUCKED. Why do they have to add so much stupid stuff to it. modern TV shows SUCK. THEY ALL SUCK
I'm only watching it because of Summer Glau too and was hoping it would turn out good but so far it isn't.
Saw the premier on Monday and for a 2 hour premier it felt really rushed for some reason. Wasn't terrible but wasn't great, like that it had a decent sense of humor, not so overly self serious like Heroes, I think it's very aware of itself. I'll keep watching to see how it plays out plus they seemed to put Summer is some nice outfits so that's a bonus. :grin:
I DVRd and watched it last night. Agree that it felt a bit rush....it had some good moments, and some that made you scratch your head. I may watch it a couple more times, hope that writers / actors gel more.
Let me be more constructive. Summer Glau is HOT and the gullwing Mercedes is Awesome. Other than that, this show needs to canceled right in the middle of episode 4. I mean, just stop the show with a test of the emergency broadcasting system and have the long beep. This show is copying the Shadow and that was a god awful movie in itself.
Had high hopes like others, but gah its horrible. Too many lifts from Batman...horrible editing...no sense of framing time at all...various random things written in to force the storyline to play along....no time spent on development, very rushed. Even Summer couldn't save this show. Please get it off the air. Such a great idea ruined, ruined I tell ya.

Stopped after the 2nd or 3rd episode. Waste of time. If it somehow gets renewed, I have the other episodes on DVR.
Even Summer Glau in all her mini skirts and offshoulder whatevers can't keep the show going. I stuck with it all the way to last week's episode because I know Heroes started off a big slow.
It lost me on the first episode with the underground "carnival of crime". The whaaaa??? carnival of crime? You've gotta be kidding me. That's gotta be the dumbest thing I've seen on TV in a long time.
I just hope the "Greatest American Hero" remake happens. It was confirmed in 2008, but then Cannell and Culp died. Supposedly there is a complete story already available. To me, this and Batman were the only two successful shows. But the GAH storyline has always been far more fascinating.
Show was cancelled a few the first few episodes, they are burning the remaining episodes off, hence the longer hiatus for The Event.
We're still watching, but some things are too much to overlook. His best friend, wife and son can't recognize his voice? Or his face?
