With Langhi's 2-year contract, are we looking at re-visiting the Mobely scenario again in two years OR does the fact that year 1 has guaranteed money change everything? I like Langhi! Great footwork to shoot off the catch and he can also create his own shot. On another note, Collier didn't look too great, but why is he playing the 5 rather than the 4? Dench took a couple of jumpers that looked like plays which had been drawn up for Collier. ------------------ Time is a great teacher-- only problem is it kills all its pupils.
Langhi will not be that good after his initial contract is up. If anything, he'll be a decent role player. I think he likes it here in Houston and will not get such high interest. At least not to the extent that he would consider moving to another team. Does he pan out, expect him to stay right here with us. ------------------ Nederland 2002 Qualifying Campaign (Damn those penalties!!!) <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Pressbox/6544" TARGET=_blank>Houston Rockets Space Center- Not just another ClutchCity.NET clone. Yes, it appears we will be facing the Mobley scenario all over again with Langhi in 2 years. There will be a push, by CD among others, to change the rule regarding 2nd rounders because, as it is right now, the better-harder-working staffs are being punished. Something not originally foreseen with the most recent CBA. We have to hope this particlar rule gets changed and fast. ------------------
I said this exact thing in another post. Here: http://bbs.clutchcity.net/ubb/Forum3/HTML/007872.html DaDakota [This message has been edited by DaDakota (edited July 28, 2000).]
