Which team do you think came away the best deal? Which team do you think came away with the worst deal? I pick Denver on getting the best deal since they got rid of Carmelo to avoid being left with basically nothing like Cleveland's situation with Lebron. New York's team still isn't better than Boston or Miami even with their new look, imo. I think our Rockets came away well with getting rid of AB, who was rather childish as of late, and for getting 2 1st rounder's for him and Shane. Imo, the Celtics came away worst, because they lost size with the trade of Perkins. The one advantage they had against Miami was their size including Perkins. Some believe that if Perkins had stayed healthy in the 2010 Finals then they might have won. It puts more pressure on an aging Shaq, and it gives a sigh of relief to Miami, Orlando, Chicago, and possibly the Lakers.
The Thunder made the best trades. They slide Ibaka into the starting 4 position, have a good defensive starting center, as well as tall backups. If need be, they have an extremely good "fast and athletic" lineup as well where Ibaka mans the 5, but is still effective offensively and defensively. Thes are well calculated moves by OKC.
What else is OKC still missing? I'm assuming chemistry is the only thing holding them back right now.
a 3 point specialist would be nice...or a veteran 2 guard (Murray) would be nice...But Im being picky
I don't know what grade I would give the Bulls, but for a team that has the possibility to contend now, they did little at the deadline, getting Miami's 2011 1st, sure to be very low, for James Johnson. They apparently wanted Lee, but wouldn't make a deal for help in the playoffs this season, and one that would have helped them going forward, by refusing to deal Asik for Courtney. Lee would have helped them a hell of a lot. I think they screwed up, but time will reveal all.
The only trade I really don't get is Boston's. They sent away their enforcer big man and one of their key bench scorers for Jeff Green and Kristic, neither of whom is a true big and a need for the team. If they are not careful they could end up being the 3rd seed in the East.
Clippers did the best!!!! They got rid of a lazy, bad-attitude pg for 2 good players with up-side. For once the Clippers, Clippered another team.
After Brooks got traded, Rockets made the best trade. Bc lets face it in 3 months he was leaving us for nothing
Best 1) OKC, adding Perkins might take them to the WCF and maybe even the Finals 2) Portland adding Wallace for free Worst 1) I have no idea what the Bobcats are doing 2) I have no I idea why Boston traded away Perkins unless he said he wouldn't resign or he's still hurt 3) lol at Chicago
The Jazz trade is extremely underrated... Favors is gonna be a beast. And they have true assets (as opposed to us) with Millsap, Jefferson, Hayward, plus 1st round picks to trade for another star. But I doubt they actually do since I don't think any star will re-sign with them. They'll be really good in the future. If they land a top PG in the draft, watch out.
I wish we made a move for Wallace & Dalembert or Battier for Perkins. Chicago, lol x 2. Bobcats lol x 3. Okc winners.
Agreed. If the deal really was Lee & Miller for Asik & Bogans, they screwed up by not doing that trade, though I'm thinking Morey was also asking for a pick (most likely the Charlotte '12 1st). Seems like they tried to screw us and when Morey wouldn't give in they went after Mayo. <!-- http://twitter.com/#!/KCJHoop/status/40929013820030976 --> <style type='text/css'>.bbpBox40929013820030980 {background:url(http://a2.twimg.com/profile_background_images/35669026/dunk_small.jpg) #000000;padding:20px;} p.bbpTweet{background:#fff;padding:10px 12px 10px 12px;margin:0;min-height:48px;color:#000;font-size:18px !important;line-height:22px;-moz-border-radius:5px;-webkit-border-radius:5px} p.bbpTweet span.metadata{display:block;width:100%;clear:both;margin-top:8px;padding-top:12px;height:40px;border-top:1px solid #fff;border-top:1px solid #e6e6e6} p.bbpTweet span.metadata span.author{line-height:19px} p.bbpTweet span.metadata span.author img{float:left;margin:0 7px 0 0px;width:38px;height:38px} p.bbpTweet a:hover{text-decoration:underline}p.bbpTweet span.timestamp{font-size:12px;display:block}</style> <div class='bbpBox40929013820030980'><p class='bbpTweet'>Bulls GM Gar Forman: "We don’t want to hit a single or a double.
