At what point will Adelman get bashed for not playing the new guys?

Hasn't he already with TeeWill?

 

Well he has to play Dragic, no other PGuards on the roster and I would ASSUME he has to play T-Will because who else backs up the 3 spot. I THINK he will play Thabeet because of his contract but that one will be the most interesting.

 

I've been feeling like Adelman's going to step down before Saturday.

Thabeet needs to be on the floor ASAP. We have no other shot blocker and we are pretty much out the playoff unless we win like all of our games from here on out. Get Thabeet minutes and his development going ASAP! I mean we just gave up Battier for him so I hope he gets time his time but I bet he won't.

If not DM needs to step in and fire his ass cause he is holding everything up.

 

Stick Thabeet into the starting spot. Trial by fire. If he sucks, we tank harder.

I think Lee can play backup point if needed. I hope he plays TWill to see what he has, but I think it may be tough since it seems we are trying to make a playoff push.

I hope they don't bank on making the playoffs and not give some of the young guys minutes. Frankly I'd like to see heavy doses of Patterson and TWill on the court to see if they play well together. Thabeet probably won't be in this years plans, but if the Rockets are being gashed in the paint like they have been all season, give him a chance to see if he can help.

 

Adelman is a smart coach. I'm sure he realizes with this trade that the Rockets are looking to truly rebuild and develop the younger players. As a result, I believe you will see fewer minutes for players such as Martin, Scola, & Hayes. I would say Lowry, Lee, and Bud should still get decent minutes, and then mix in Pat Pat, J-Hill, T-Will, and the newbies as they deserve.

Developing your talent and projects it does mean you put them all out there without some of the now "elder statesmen" on the team like Scola, Martin, & Hayes. It also does mean you do not make them work for and earn their minutes in practice against the other young players and with good play in games.

Improving these players confidence (especially for Thabeet I would assume) is important, but setting high standards for them to meet and instilling a winning professional attitude is just as important.

 

Dont see Thabett getting any playing time. Thabett will be riding the bench or inactive throughout a good part of the rest of the season. Dragic will obviously play and get around 15-20 MPG and Williams will get anywhere between 10-20 MPG.

People have been preemptively bashing Adelman for not playing the new guys for at least a few weeks even before the trades took place. This sadly is not a joke.

 

I think we'll see Dragic in action tomorrow night.

 

If Adelman doesn't play Dragic on Saturday, then he's an idiot. Simple as that.
