I'm really hoping that Bobcats stay with Wallace, I do not want him on this team. They have a good young PG in Augustin, I see no reason to bring in a scoring 1st PG like Aaron.
http://blogs.charlotte.com/inside_the_nba/2011/02/silas-bobcats-arent-dealing.html It makes sense for them, they're closer to making the playoffs then we are.
Wallace would be an amazing consolation prize in what has been, up till now, a very anti-climactic trade deadline.
Bobcats Offering Gerald Wallace To Rockets In Latest NBA Trade Rumors http://twitter.com/#!/KBerg_CBS Sources say Bobcats turned to Houston and Cleveland for Gerald Wallace after Blazers talks broke down. Cleveland a no-go. Rockets "chomping for a deal," another source says. Battier could be part of Wallace deal, but feeling among execs is Wallace stays.
While my expertise i's in psychotherapy and not in the national basketball association I have to say that I hope Morey pulls this off. I like Gerald Wallace a great deal and I think he'd be great on this team because 1.) he can be a defensive monster, 2.) he has a good inside presence on he offensive end, and 3.) he's better than Battier and will only get better (compared to Battier) as time moves forward.
Gerald Wallace for Battier straight up is a good deal good defender, better scorer, more offensive minded do it!
Wallace to Portland for Pryz and a 2nd round pick is a total steal by Portland. You have to think we coulda offered a better deal than that.
The Blazers had to give up two 1st round picks for Wallace. That's too much imo, especially if we are trying to rebuild.
