Why do the Rockets need a third string point guard who thinks hes Steve Francis. This team is way to talented on the front line to have a third string point guard who thinks shoot first, pass second. Tierre Brown needs to take that weak behind the back dribbling crap back to the YMCA. Give me a Ghetto Maddox over a head band wearing, flashy shoe sporting, BBS impressing, Teirre Brown, anyday. I dont need a wannabe Jerry West rating system to tell me whos more valuable to this team. Its Maddox. Ok, his face aint no picnic, but this is basketball, not a runway show. Go root for Ric Fox or something.

Woe there Stoke, wouldn't you agree that Teirre is a better player at this point. Tito may be better in the future, but right now teirre is getting the assists without the turnovers.

And the Ric Fox comment was a low blow!!!!!;)

I dont give a rat's as& what the kid looks like...he's a crappy player right now. When he can show me more of what he has, then and only then will I think he deserves to play on my team.

TB looks like and plays like the guy I want backingup my point..
    PERIOD

    CASE CLOSED

Ive always wanted to say that..thanks TJ:D:p

shuttle, stats wise, yeah maybe. But Im looking at the longterm picture and Maddox seems to be the man. He doesn't force anything, or try to go beyond his limits. Tierre Brown is pushing and forcing things way too much. I didn't like the guys game last year and I dont like it this year. He may be on cloud nine now, but he cant keep it up. I bet its just an extra preseason wind he found. Were loaded with frontline talent, we dont need a third string point guard who is looking to fill it up like Allen Iverson. We need a patient guy who likes to set things up with a pass, and Maddox is the man for that. You may be right and I may be just a dumb armchair coach.

sorry about the low blow, brah. ;)

I agree 100%. Tierre has that backup point guard slot on lock.

Tierre does seem kind of redundant with Cuttino, Steve, and Moochie already on the team. We’ve already got flashy, shoot-first guards that can dribble between the legs, behind the back, and make the double pump lay-up. I think getting a pure point guard type that can penetrate, push the ball, and looks to pass first is a more pressing need, especially with so many great scorers already on the team.

I AM RIGHT AND YOU ARE JUST A DUMB ARMCHAIR COACH!

    Naw.........I'm just joking with ya Stoke.;) :D ;) :D ;)
I really hope you're right about Tito. Maybe he just needs to settle down and play his game. Rudy is going to have a tuff decision to make between Brown and Maddux. It sounds like Tito is a very raw talent that could be a really good player in the future, when he can afford to get that wig trimmed down.

You gotta admit though, he could use a trimm or some cornroles or somthing.:D

rockHEAD chimed in with the late 'appropriate early response'

    Who the hell is Tido?

    If you mean Tito, then...

Has anyone been able to confirm if Tito's contract is either non-guaranteed, partially guaranteed or fully guaranteed?

His skills need some retooling. Send his A$$ to the NBDL or Europe. He's going to be a waste as a 12th man, just like Collier.
