Man if morey trade lee for astik or whatever his name is. imma be piss. Lee is damn keeper. Why keep trading pieces? If we don't make it to he playoff it ll be 3 times in 4 years that we missed it. I'll blame this on morey and Rick.

If we HAVE to deal Lee, scratch this trade. Send him and Battier to Memphis for Mayo and Thabeet. Then send Brooks to Minnesota in a deal for Johnny Flynn. How can you not be intrigued by a bench with Flynn, Mayo, Twill, Pat Pat and Thabeet?!

I like Lee, but I also like Asik. I'd make the trade since the Rockets have plenty of decent enough wings but have not been able to find a good 7 footer that Asik can be since Yao and Mutombo got hurt 2 years ago.

I agree. Who says the draft pick has to be for this year? I'd prefer a pick in next years draft, which will have all the underclassmen that didn't declare this year due to the ossible labor lockout.

Amare' to Rockets was also nearly a completed deal until it crashed and burned. While I wish it wouldn't have happened, I hope it does happen with this trade. We need to keep Lee.

I dont know if I like Asik mainly because I dont know him as a player. I hold some belief we want him here for a good reason though. If he is a good player at center then he is good to get regardless of Courtney Lees skills bigs are more valuable these days who play well. The thing I like is every trade I hear Morey and 1st rounders. Hopefully if he keeps getting a1st rounder with every trade he does he then nets us as many as we need to make moves in the draft to move up or keep them all. Heck go into next few years draft with multiple draft picks is the fastest way to rebuild and give you more shots at good players.

Just say no to trading our few remaining good 2-way players.
We should just NOT TRADE if nothing good comes up.

    BINGO!!

We'd have won at least 6 more games with a Defensive Big man this year.

I just heard from a Chicago source that deal is DONE.

Courtney Lee it is. Bogans to Minnesota. Flynn and Miami's 1st round pick to Houston

Look, we all know Morey values Lee; he's been looking at getting him on this team for quite some time. But Chicago is a contender that covets Lee even more. If Morey surrenders Lee to them, I'm sure we'll get more than our fair share of value.

Would Chicago be willing to trade for Battier at all?
