For you guys that want Thabeet on this team(you clearly haven't watched him play) I can tell you there are 3 reasons why he never gets any floor time.

    1. He likes to foul like its going out of style - The guy will play 10 minutes and then foul out.

    2. He is clumsy as all hell - If you are 7'3 and can't block or rebound well then I don't know what in the hell to tell you but maybe you should go wash windows or something else because you f'ing suck.

    3. The whole you can't teach size is a bunch of bullsh!t - Yeah its true you can't teach size but you also can't teach dumbasses or clumsy fools either so what the hell is the point. There is only 1% chance he ever comes into his own and I would not give up Battier to find out.

STAY AWAY FROM THABEET I BEG OF YOU!

Hakeem typically helps out the proven elite players in the NBA: Howard, Bryant. I doubt he'd waste his time helping out Thabeet.

Its not only that he is a bust but if the Griz get away with trading Thabeet for an expiring contract they will have the finances to resign Gasol which I'm sure all of us would much rather have than this freakin cartoon character Thabeet.

We could do much better than Thabeet for Battier. There's a reason why he can't get off the bench for Memphis and no one wants him.

You do realize we will probably give up Battier this summer anyway.

Hakeem would take one good look at Thabeet and say "Son I'm sorry but you are just too damn stupid and clumsy for me to teach you ****. I'm surprised you learned how to breathe on your own."

The fact that in a thread talking about Thabeet, Hakeem's name has even been mentioned makes me want to throw up. Do you guys ever watch some of the players you are wanting play on a daily basis or even look at stats?

Hasheem looks like Hakeem letter-wise, and he wears #34. What the heck more do you want?

I think we as Rockets fans are so desperate for a replacement for Yao or hell a replacement for anybody that we will try anything at this point. I will not try this though.

I don't mind if we trade for him as long as we get a draft pick out of it as well. But everyone needs to really lower their expectations of a guy that hasn't shown a damn thing lol

Why would we trade a starter for an unproven center who is not going to start no way...
Battier & Lee for Thabeet,Allen, and Mayo.

    Hopefull lineup:
    C-Thabeet/Hayes/Miller
    F-Scola/Patterson/Hill/Jeffries
    F-Allen/Williams
    G-Martin/Mayo
    G-Lowry/Brooks/Smith
