Well at least New Orleans will have to consider Scola or Martin now, given that Gallinari, Felton, Billups, Carmelo, Harris and Favors are now all gone from the trade scenario.

I bet Scola and Martin are now a better offer than most. But i don´t see them adding Scola when they have West and Okafor.
Maybe Kevin Martin and Brooks. Not sure if they ask for a pick what will Morey say, as of now, Chris Paul is a 2 year rental.

With the addition of Derrick Favors does this mean that the Jazz may be willing to part with a frontcourt player? Jefferson could be somewhat expendable if the Jazz are wanting to start a rebuilding process.

Let me dream a little bit.
Thinking forward, i think if we add Chris Paul for Brooks, Martin and this year´s pick adding Haywood won´t be that bad.
Yes, his contract sucks, but he is the type of player Paul would make a lot better.
I am going to think that Haywoog would cost us Jeffries.

Then Paul, Scola and Haywood would be the keepers. And everyone else still tradeable.

Lets presume OJ Mayo and Thabeet cost us Biddinger, Hill and a NY pick. Having CP3 would allow us to use Mayo as SG. Our defense is getting better.

If we can nail those then we already have this.

    Cp3/Lowry
    Mayo/Lee
    Battier/Williams
    Scola/Patterson
    Haywood/Thabeet/Miller

Pretty short team but with Yao expiring maybe we can land a bunch of so-so players to complete the roster.

    Check it out here.

If it is that easy, I'd trade Scola and Martin for Bosh and LeBron.

Which of the trades do you find less probable. I think Paul´s is the less probable one because NO will be very afraid to make the move. But with everyone else moving their stars maybe they find some courage.

It is pretty sad , that teams will have tremendous success with only getting pairs of superstars , not building through the draft just for them to leave "sexier city , sexier teammates".

Well, it's getting pretty depressing after this Gerald Wallace trade, it seems we are on our way to acquire another mediocre role player. :(

    Calm.

Only really start worrying if nothing's happened by 9 tomorrow morning, really.

Major trades are happening sooner than expected. Yeah, let's be calm when the best assets are being traded to other teams. Don't worry, we will have the annual salary-dump trade to take us below LT.

You want an elite level talent, you suck it up while the Rockets tank for one, and the sooner we start rebuilding, the sooner we can get it over with.

    Treading water is bull****.
