lol Roxran. We're the same height, now I realize why we see eye-to-eye on so many issues.

THIS RULES, by the way. Reading Goldberg's daily "almmoooost there" made me hit myself in the head w/ a frying pan a few times.

Here's to Ming. And here's to the hope that 'the wall' only applys to overprotected NCAA kids. Now come out slugging Ming.

So does that mean there won't be another press conference at Compaq? Like before the game tonight? Were any local stations covering the press conference at the airport?

lol .... apparently rockHEAD and Jeff stopped at a sign outside the airport that said "Welcome to Houston, Yao Ming!" in order to get some photos ... and sure enough, Yao's limo and other Rockets cars drove by. They hopped in their car and chased it down, getting some paparazzi-like rockHEAD-style photos of the cars while they were driving :)

I can only imagine rockHEAD and Jeff speeding home at 90mph to be the first ones to post pics. The race is on! I've got dibs on rockHEAD after the Hakeem/Whole Foods brilliance.

Subliminal Shot and I just got back. Pretty cool. Yao walked right next to us, arm length away, hehe he had to lean his head down to go through the terminal exit!

On the way out of the airport we see a stretch Lincoln limo and are almost sure it is Ming.....but no! Up ahead a stretched Lincoln Navigator.....now that's his!

hehe I wish....I don't have a camera and ss didn't either....was going to buy a throw away but of course we got caught in the moment.

We were there though....Yao was escorted from terminal to infront of the elevators(which had a homemade "Welcome Yao" sign that was oriental in style (red with gold). His parents joined him in front of the camaras after just a little bit. Then he exited, signed a few autographs on his way out. Rudy, CD, and his new interpretor were there. The interpretor was next to him as he walked toward the elevator/interview area.

Was a slight head duck, more like a neck duck....not like a crouch hehe.....but he is huge....looked solid too...not awkward

BTW: our friend did get pictures(with us in them too)....we'll put them up once they are developed.

I heard that there was approx 100 fans at the Terminal, at least a lot more than 25.

Who all was there? Me and DLS were there! I was the young guy with a black dress shirt and grey pants and grey tie. I tried to remember a lot of the faces there so I could put them with the posters. PS. If you were there, describe yourself...

Guys, with media and everything, there were approximately 150 people there. It was crazy. I was in the middle of all the media just holding my camera above my head and snapping photos of God only knows what.

His mom is 6'5" tall. She and her husband (who is like 6'11") are very stylish people and seem extremely nice. I snapped a couple of pics of Rudy T as well.

CD is tall, like 6'9", but he looked SHORT compared to Yao and Yao's translator who is only about an inch taller than me came only up to about Yao's chest. The guy is a freakin' giant.

He looked exhausted! Both rock and I commented that he looked like he just wanted to find a bed and go to sleep.

The Rockets are having a press conference at Compaq in about half an hour. I was going to go to that as well but I have some work to do and I'm tired too. More photos should be up soon. The one on the front page is mine.
