Best Mom and Pop Food in Houston?? Chinese, Burgers, Tacos, Etc.

1 up on that....that place is awesome. My wife and I have been there once. He closes early during the week and is closed on the weekends. Little pricey, but worth it.

Yeah I get my meat there from there as well. Pricy but really good. I'll find out.

 

Took a chance and checked out this place tonight, since I pass by it all the time. Not bad.

I pour one little cup in the quesadilla and still dip it afterwards. The sauce is not consistently the same at all locations though, some places are spicier.

 

I've got to jump in and say the Cajun Town locations. For the price, they serve a surprising selection of Cajun cousine and seafood. If I'm not mistaken, the guy who started them used to be affiliated with Pappadeaux and basically created these as a place that serves similar food for significantly less money.
