Shoot for a Hyundai Sonata, settle for a McLaren F1.

Shoot for Jenna Fischer, settle for Megan Fox.

So by your statement I'm assuming you like to F in real life but you also like it in the butt? I guess whatever floats your boat.

that's why morey isn't going to get anybody. he overrates his players.

sometimes it will work to get some really good role players, but now GMs learned from what morey had done and aren't biting.

    you're all wrong.

it's a typical business way. first, raise the price higher than its real value. then post discount to reach back to the real value. by doing it, customers get confused and think they get a good deal.

only question left is which side gets confused. seller or buyer?

We don't have to sell at fifty cents on the dollar, but I think we should be satisfied with ninety, maybe. Otherwise, we could go another year having lots of PFs and wings, lacking a good defensive center, a very good SF, and one All-star at some position.

We could trade AB, Lee, Jeffries, Budinger, Battier, Hill, Scola
    and keep
    Lowry / Ish
    Martin
    TWill
    PPatt
    Hayes / Miller

With those assets to trade, plus maybe some kind of pick, we should be able to bring back some good players at positions we need help at. Even getting 90 cents on the dollar.

Indeed. Morey doesn't make a deal for the sake of making a deal. He'd probably be content (not happy) to sit on his expiring contracts.

You think we could actually get crap for Aaron? Ya ok then we can trade Jeffries for Kobe. I would definitely accept crap for Brooks but I just don't see anyone offering anything that good. Line up would look like this

    PG: Lowry, crap
    SG: Martin, Lee
    SF: Battier, Bud
    PF: Scola, Patterson
    C: Hayes, Miller

    Let's talk Rockets here...

I don't think Morey is going to give up Yao unless it lands us a potential star type player. Now in saying that, what's realistically on the market? According to every sports journalist that's covering Rocket news, Gerald Wall and... Well that's about it?

    Whats your opinion?
