Why Melo want to go to team who treat their players so bad?

    I am surprised at Melo's lack of disgust at the NY Knicks, for their inhumane treatment of players.

    Look at the Knicks. They sign Felton and Mozgov in the offseason, only to trade them to Denver mid-season. They trade for Randolph to be part of their team, but never play him and eventually just trade him away. They drafted Hill and Gallinari with lottery picks, only to send them away when it's befitting of the team. And I can't even begin to understand how horribly they treated T-Mac, and refuse to resign him despite him being fully healthy again. Or that they won't let their good soldier Jeffries finish his career in NY.

    Players are not cattle. They don't deserve to be moved around like nothing. And the Knicks made their final mistake. I'm sure that CP3 and Deron Williams see such horrific treatments, and will never ever sign with the Knicks. They are upstanding citizens who will not bow down to player-cruelty done by the Knicks. We all know both have already crossed Houston off the list because Morey doesn't think players are human beings. And there's no way the Knicks deplorable actions escape their eyes. Melo was obviously hoodwinked, but I think the Knicks will never sign another FA because they know it's a horrible, horrible place.

    He wants to go their because they are paying him max money. He's the reason that those guys were so called treated bad according to you so why would he care?

    ...you could have made a lot of good points about how poorly the NY franchise is run and how the but the one point you did make is probably the least offensive thing about NY - they just treat it like a business like every other team in the league and most players who spend several years in the league find that out either when they get traded or when one of their buddies get traded or doesn't see playing time. I don't think Paul or Williams would be offended by that and I'm certain Melo wouldn't be.

    You could easily call Houston a much more horrible place by your standards - at least NY traditionally overpays for guys so they are getting paid well while they are being "mistreated".

    Well if someone offered us, say Lebron, for a a bunch of guys that we just signed in the offseason/fan favorites, would you say no because it would be "inhumane" towards the players we just signed?
