    Thank the heavens.................he is gone and now we can win some more games this year. Before I get bashed to death, let me just say that he did have his best year of his career last year (in his free agent year) but I don't trust his game and never will. Thank goodness he is gone!!!:p

    I'll take it you guys didn't vote for Walt to be in the All-Star Game.

    P.S I just saw a commercial on TV promoting none other than Walt "The Wizzard" Willams' album. (That's the way Wizard was spelled) Gonna Buy it? Lemme guess....

    Geez, if you guys hate this much on Walt (who averaged 10 points for us last year and was our only legit 3-point gunner by shooting 42%), I don't even know what you think of Collier, Langhi or Tierre Brown.

    If yall are so ignorant as to blame last season on Walt, go ahead. And yes, he is off to "greener pastures"- he'll get a chance to compete for a championship in Dallas. I'm a Rockets fan through and through, but Walt was actually the only consistent outside shooter while he was here in Houston. So think twice before you wanna blame all our losses on Walt.

    You guys need to lighten up on the Wizard, he gave us all he could while playing here. You can't blame him for that. Can you?:confused:

    no he didn't, he sucked the year before, and when his contract was almost up, then he starts to hustle. Sounds like a case of "Olowakandiitis" to me.

    Walt was very inconsistent with his outside shot but when he did a good job he made things a little easier for us.He won't be missed. I expect Rice to score as much as him if not slightly more.
    I'm happy for him.He can be a useful role player on a stronger team.

    Walt did not "suck". He was a solid, if not unspectacular, NBA player who always knew his role and rarely complained about it. I'm glad to see that he caught on with another NBA team, even if it is Dallas.

    pippen, yes but he didn't really establish himself as a rocket. all the shandon, othella, walt, dickerson, i wish them well.

    See, this is the problem with naming yourself after a player. Now that he's gone, a name like walt sucks 2 just sounds stupid. It would be like naming yourself "Pet Rock" or "Argyle Rules" or "Houston Oilers 4 Ever".

    Has anyone else seen the promo all over the tv for Walt's new rap album. Get this, it is called "Insights of a Wizard" and Walt is walking out in a black hood in the commercial. It is one of the funniest things I have seen in awhile.

    You know............now I know Walt was not a fan favorite in Houston because I was expecting to get hammered for my negative post and instead we are talking about Walt's rap album. Being in Cincinnati, I have to say that I have come to the conclusion that Houston has the best fans in the world and that is part of the reason I have followed this team for the last 20 years!!!
    Jeff makes a good point about my name, however it will only take minutes to change it to Collier Sucks. Hey it's the truth and everyone (no matter how die hard the fan) knows it!!! My wife who never watches basketball was laughing at how bad Collier was last year in one of the few games she witnessed. That says it all. Don't let the preseason fool you.................he may be a great human being, but he is an awful NBA center!!!:eek:

    I didn't like Walt either. He talked like he was big. One of his quotes was something about his college team having more talent then the Rockets or something along that lines.
