I voted Waffles, but it was like the voting for Cheese vs. Sex. I can't live without both.

Waffles. I don't like the dryness of pancakes. I always feel like I have to chug some orange juice after I take a bite of a pancake.

My entire life I thought the slogan was "Leggo my eggo", and my world just came crashing down when I read this and I thought I had been wrong all these years. But I just looked it up and it appears you are the one that is wrong. Whew.

I just LOVE to eat pancakes with chocolate chips, it's one of my favorites! :p
Well, I also can't really say no to waffles but if I had to choose between those two tasty choices, I'd go with pancakes (And if it comes with chocolate chips I would eat the whole thing, seriously ;))

How do you miscreants find these threads?

Fine. Here's my advice. If you live in Houston go to Melange Creperie. Trust me.

I vote pancakes. I love them both equally, but I can't make waffles at home so I eat pancakes alot more. Although I do have a waffle maker, I just can't find a good recipe for the batter. :(

Depends on what you're eating with it.

    Sausage? Pancakes.

    Chicken? Waffles.

    Bacon? Toss up.

I'll take good pancakes over waffles but most pancakes are that good, hard lumpy and dry.

Waffles although it is much easier to eat pancakes as they seem to be more accessible to most people.

They're all good when made right. Waffles are harder to make, so I usually go with pancakes, or -- even easier -- french toast. My family's way of making crepes is time-consuming, so it's usually an afternoon snack/entertainment than it is a breakfast. Also, if I have blueberries on hand, definitely pancakes. If I have pecans, I could do either waffles or pancakes.

as long as the waffles are belgian and made proper with a waffle iron and all i go with waffles.

i am not a fan of frozen waffles at all

pancakes are real good though but as someone else mentioned they are way too heavy at times

It's the other way around in my book. I usually decide if I'm eating pancakes or waffles, then that decision leads me to my side (bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc).

Krusteaz pancake mix is also the best I've found.
