Martin is the 10th leading scorer in the NBA, without that we would not be able to score enough points to keep up with teams consistently.

Exactly. If we beat the odds and make the playoffs, I'll pick an MVP then.

I was torn between Chuckwagon and Martin. Glad to see they're close, and likely many others were torn between them as well.

Interesting. And excluding an odd planetary alignment making the TC the 2 month residence of Carmelo Anthony...

One in three voters is voting for the current starting C...the position that the Rockets have designated in the media as the position they want to upgrade the most.

So does this playing out of position 1/2 year MVP become the starting PF? If not, seems odd logic that the 1/2 year MVP only warrants a backup PF position.

I am an advocate of upgrading C, sliding Chuck to the 4 and trading Scola for a younger 3 (ala Iggy, Granger, Wallace).

I really like Scola but he is far and away the worst defefender on this team. He needs to play alongside a dominant defensive big to cover his weaknesses.

whats with all the chuck hayes mvp talk? our interior defense tells me our team mvp is NOT chuck hayes.

    THINK FANS!

it's kyle lowry. and kevin martin is a beaver hair behind him.

Martin is so overrated, he gets his efficient numbers but doesn't win games, we were better with brooks as the lead dog than martin as our record reflects that from last season.

Mvp has to go to Hayes hands down, rockets interior defense would be even worse without his ability to defend the post one on one.

This is mental. If everyone was as efficient as KM the team would win all its games. Efficiency=putting balls in the bucket=outscoring the opponent=winning games. Last season we won games because Brooks et al. pulled their own weight. Now, almost everyone is having a down year most esp. the bench due to the machinations of Rick Adelman.

Scola doesnt miss any games. maybe he has to miss a few so that we can judge how good or bad the team is without him.

I voted Luis for consistency sake. brings it every night. And obvi his D is bad, but at least he tries unlike our all-star point guard.

And of course, we have Hayes and Martin who have been extremely valuable. This poll needs a check box instead of radio buttons
