Can't wait, the first season was awesome. Also looking forward to season 2, though it will be a little weird not having Andy Whitfield as Spartacus

It will be slightly strange watching this whole season knowing what happens utlimately to the man and woman running the gladiator business. But I suppose in some ways their hand was forced by Andy Whitfield's cancer.

Is the hopes to do one season of prequel stuff and hopefully by the time the next season is ready to film Andy will be over his leukemia for good? I really want them to follow up on the story of Spartacus, not some gladiator school. The scale of Spartacus' journey was just getting ready to really, REALLY ramp upwards.

1:03 of the trailer. For a split sec. He has long hair so I guess this'll cover his gladiator training.

Just picked up the first season for $15 at target. I have only watched a few episodes, but I love it. One of my favorite shows on tv. too bad the main character is sick, hope he gets well for a real season 2

So they did Blood and Sand, now they're doing a prequel series about Crixus and the rest, and then they would go back and pick up where Blood and Sand left off? Is this correct?

    Blood and Sand was awesome.

Bummer about the actor who played Spartacus. He was really good.

Good starting point. Ganicus (sp?) is a great character so far. Sucks there are only six episodes.

I'm still completely bummed that Andy Whitfield isn't going to come back to the show.

Lucy Lawless has some nice t*tties.

Ya, Andy not coming back is damn depressing.

I remember watching some fan video on youtube where he was interviewed, and he said he was leaving the next day to film......but then his health went south again. :(

    Anyone been watching it?

This might be my new favorite show on TV, just amazing stuff, I can't believe there are only 2 episodes left this season

Also, it looks like Gannigus, the champion of Capua this season will be returning for season 2 of Blood and Sand, I thought that was interesting

4 episodes in, the answer is a resounding yes. Many times.
