Rockets gave AB enough chances already, with no signs of improvement. Sad but it's time to move on. A guy shooting 35% but still jack up 10-15 shots a night on 24min is just killing us. Doesn't matter how you slice it, Ish's defense and ability to get others involved warrant playing time over AB.
I agree. He is frustrated as are the rest of us. "we can't keep doing this" ... I wonder what your implying Rick What is realistic at the deadline?
That's what you get when you play a bunch of PFs at Center. He should direct his anger at someone else I think.
I can't imagine him being angry at Hill. He played him at the end of the fourth which means he was okay with him. Hill played a decent game. Scola not so much.

If Brooks is the Rockets's best trade chip, they had to play him, and hope he'd bolster his stock with improved play.
Chase Budinger, 8ppg, 42% shooting, 32% 3p Strengths - Shooting Weaknesses - Everything Else Terrence Williams rookie season, 9ppg, 41% shooting, 31% 3p Strengths - Creative abilities high for someone of his size Weaknesses - Shooting You have real issues when someone whose biggest strength is performing at the same level as someone who its their biggest weakness, and yet he gets court time because he can supposedly "run the offense and completely suck inside it"
You have to think that AB is the odd one out. He is not performing and has shown over this and the last season that he is poor on defense and can only really create for himself. Its a wonder that when he was starting last season that the starters dug the hole in a game, and now that he is coming off the bench, the bench has been rotten. Lowry really needs more props because he did a wonderful job with the bench and now with the starters. lets drop Brooks for some assets and let Ish or TWill take the backup PG spot. I yearn for the days we have a tall PG that can defend and make the opposition scared - like Penny Hardaway!! - TWill really can be that IMO. If you must, put Brooks at the SG spot like others have suggested and have someone else do the PG duties in the backup, however it still means we play defending with a 6 foot lightweight. I just hope we have some successful changes by the deadline, because this obviously isnt working as suggested by Adelman.
Somebody posted a thread about Terrence William's stats for the end of last season. His stats for the past 22 games were: 14 pts, 5 assts, and 6 rbds. He scored a triple double against Chicago, and looked great. We have a potential star in T-will, but Adelman/Morey won't play him. I just don't understand it.
Good to hear that Adelman is 'thinking'. I thought he couldn't or stopped that a while ago. I would love to see the 'thinking' in action. Maybe his contract situation has muddled his thinking
If next Friday comes and Brooks is still on this team, I'll be cutting myself. Adelman absolutely seemed to have Brooks' inept defense and poor offensive directing on his mind in that video. Last year misled too many of the (too many) posters on the BBS that only seem to understand basketball in terms of the "Points Scored" column. I'll take a Jason Kidd (unreliable jumper, excellent facilitator and good defender) over a Tyreke Evans (big scorer, doesn't make the team better) any day of the week. PG is the last position in this game where you'd want a one-dimensional scorer starting. And when that 1D shooter starts misfiring and having tantrums? Worthless.
Ok, Rick. You're disappointed in your second unit, yet, Terrence Williams is at home planning what he should wear tonight(check his twitter). Something is wrong with this picture, and it's not Terrence's pink pants.
Do you think Adelman, Adelman, will let a young rookie (not Scola type rookie) take a vets starting role unless injuries force him to do it?
Looks like TWill not dressing again http://twitter.com/#!/TheRealTWill but he will be looking fly on Valentine's Day
The tweet that I thin should be discussed is the most recent one... http://twitter.com/Yung_ADubb/status/37235549936955392 http://twitter.com/TheRealTWill/status/37239684060938240 Maybe he plans on starting and not being the sixth man?
