Too simplified. Hustle can overcome a medium-sized talent disparity.

I haven't seen many arguments in this thread that say not giving 100% is OK. I think we can agree that it's not, no matter how you dress it up.

It doesn't matter how good the team is that you're facing... this isn't poker. You don't fold.

Does it matter? We're not making the playoffs, our team has no goal this season, we have no fire. I don't blame them. We suck.

1st time I remember since early 80's that i have not cared about watching. I don't care if they loose as long as there is a chance. this team has none. they should sit down Brooks, Battier for good. put Hayes on bench for defensive stops when needed and start playing the young players. there is no chance anyway, why don't they let the young talent develop. unfortunately I have lower level tickets for march 1st portland game. i don't even want to go, but i have promised my sons that i will take them to a rockets game this year. one more thing, next time they say they don't care about what they need the night before the draft, and choose another undersize player that is going to rot on the bench, someone should show them video clips of how every team uses them for high light reels for dunks. this is probably the only team without seven footers in a sport that is made for seven footers. and Brad Miller does not count as one. due is 7 foot tall and cant get a single rebound to save his life. at least David Andersen was younger.

    ssooooooo pissed

    According to NBA.com:

the Cavaliers have only 7 foot player that gets them 2.3 rpg
Detroit doesnt have a 7 foot taller.
Chicago only have one 7 foot taller in Omer Asik with 3.4 rpg.
Atlanta have one 7 foot taller with 2.1 rpg.

And many more. Miami only have Ilgauskas, and he doesnt contribute much with the team.

Sacramento only have Whiteside (played only two mins in the season)
