    I had a conversation with some friends about this recently, and I thought it was pretty fascinating that different places seemed to have a different song, and had never heard of one of the other ones being used. For me, it was always "The Entertainer."

    If I had my own truck, I would definitely use Ice Cream Man by Van Halen. :)

    I always hear one that plays music, I can't remember which, and then it goes HELLO!?




    We used to let the ice cream man pass our house, and then when he was well down the street, we would yell and shout at him to slow down we were coming. And we would slowly jog maybe a few feet and then go back to the porch and sit around and do nothing. He would give us an angry look.




    We used to have this old creepy looking man in a blue van sell ice cream. A real ice cream van. Not sure what happened to him. I was probably 8 or 9. And then we started having these ice cream vans made from minivans. They were creepy for another reason.

    Now, I only see dudes on trikes, selling ice cream made with fruit, and cups of corn.

    The one in my neighborhood played both "The Entertainer" and "Do Your Ears Hang Low?" I voted for the second, because that's what I thought of more often.

    Side question: Why aren't there as many ice cream trucks anymore, and when did they start going away? I remember them all through my teenage years (up to 10 years ago), but rarely ever see them now.
