i would like the streak better if it were the jazz or the lakers but the league wouldnt not let that happen to the lakers, idk about the jazz!
I want them to win. I'd think that most of the guys on that team felt totally betrayed from LeBron, and felt defeated. I actually felt sorry for those guys. I wouldn't mind seeing them have some success 2nd half of the season.
What's the attendance looking like in Cleveland these days? Edit: They're third in tickets sold http://espn.go.com/nba/attendance
They didn't lose only LeBron. They lost two rotation big men. Besides, their game was largely dependent on LeBron. It was not necessarily because the supporting cast was too weak. It's like taking the hub out of a wheel. It crumbles no matter how strong the spokes are. Also it is not just about talent. When you are in a streak, a huge part is mental. When the Rockets were riding the second longest winning streak in league history, nobody would be delusional enough to believe that they were the second best team ever. Momentum, positive or negative, is all mental. The Cavs were playing decent ball at the beginning of the season. After that Miami game in December, it was like something snapped, like someone took the gut out of them.
they deserve to lose cuz lbj said mo.w was an allstar guard ya right and chuck hayes is starting center for the olymipic usa team
Douchebug was talking about how the Cavs supporting cast was even better than the Lakers because they had former all-stars Jamison and Mo Williams. You'd think they could win at least a few games, no?
None of those idiots are anywhere to be found now. I knew Cleveland would have trouble winning 20 games this year, but this is just LOL @ people who thought Cleveland would still make the playoffs without the King.
Apparently, the team was built around LeBron, before he or Shaq(one of the rotation big men) joined. The Cavs won 17 games for a whole season, before LeBron got drafted.
You are comparing their rosters 8 years ago and the current roster? How is it relevant? They won 35 games in LeBron's first season. Ilgauska was the only other guy played through till last season. How is it relevant at all?
didnt know grown men called other grown men "king"...... if hes the king of anything is the king of hype. imo most in nba history!
That's true, they're missing some big men from last year. Although Z was pretty insignificant playing 20 mins a game for 7pts and 5 boards. Shaq was the best big they had last year, but he could only play 24 mins a game and was out for over 1/3 of the season. It's like they traded those 2 for Jamison this year who's more versatile than either of them. Losing Varejao for the season hurt quite a lot also. Still, with lebron, this team would've been top 3 in the East right now...without him this is what they are. That's why I'm so curious to see what this Heat team can do in the playoffs, it's going to be a hell of a series with them and the Celtics.
Don't look now but they are leading against the Clippers(4-18 on the road) by 3 pts with less than 4 minutes in the 4th.
Looks like they have a good chance to end the streak tonight. 6 pt lead with 3:30 to go. The crowd and the players are really pumped up.
The Cavs are going to celebrate like they won the championship! The crowd is going to erupt, if they win! LOL.
Sweet Jesus please just win Cavs! I don't want them breaking the losing streak against the rockets. I think there is just as much pressure on the the team the cavs play; No one wants to be the team they get the win on. Every game is going to be a playoff game for them until they win except for the rocket who will probably lay an egg.
