although I may be kidding myself, but I would like to keep C. Lee, simply because, he is best friends with Dwight Howard.. 2012 Free Agency??? You never know..
I just haven't been that impressed with Lee; I really want to be, but though I try hard, he just doesn't seem that special. I feel the same way about Lowry. However, his relationship to Dwight Howard is interesting, Howard is very special. Lowry and Lee just seem like ordinary role players with not a very high upside.
Both are high impact players now...lowry has just developed more time to be consistant...they both cause havoc on D. Kobe said lee was the best defend he faced. His got the athletic ability already and just has to refine his offense and your talking about a franchise quality player. I think his upside is like rip hamilton with elite defense and the ability finish at the rim. Tell me that isnt a player you want as your starting 2 guard.

I don't think we should move Lee for anything less than a building block player. We should move him as part of a package if we are going to move him at all. As a one for one trade i don't see how we upgrade by getting rid of Lee. He can shoot, he's young, talented, on a value contract, and one of our best defensive players. He's the kind of guy you hold on to unless you can package him with other players for an allstar. His best basketball is way ahead of him.

Teams don't tell each other, "hey let's do this trade.. but let's do it four days from now!" The Bulls and Rockets both have games Saturday, February 12th; then the Rockets next game is on the 14th (!) and the Bulls next game is on the 15th. If they were looking for a 'down' time to do the deal, I think Sunday the 13th would seem more likely?
