This current roster does not deserve any one of the coach listed.

but I pick JVG because I like to see him fail.

Phil only coaches well when he has at least 2 of the "top ten" players in the league. Hell of a coach with Xs and Os but let's face it - he has never had to deal with an entire roster of non-stars.

I voted Rick. Rudy T would do fine as well.

JVG would get this team to play great D but average at best O.

I think these three coaches would get the team to post about the same record. Rick and Rudy would have a more entertaining O.

IIRC Riley's teams without a star were all meh.

Yoda has always had a star or two so I have no clue what he would do with this roster.

The least said about Don Chaney, the better.

I really dont think any other coach could do better than RA has until this point. Its difficult to be competitive, especially on the defensive end when you dont have a true center and the personnel to play defense.

We saw what JVG did couple years ago without Mac and Yao and the team landed the #8 pick in the draft cuz they sucked so bad.

RA's team full of roll players finished above .500.

I would go with RA. I dont recall Phil Jackson or Pat Riley ever coaching a team without an all-star/superstar or two.

Love Rudy, so sorry he got sick. I have never thought Adelman was the answer here. Please no more JVG. I like the assistant coach in LA, can't remember his name, black guy, really sharp, very impressed with him. Every time I have heard him interviewed I have felt that he was one of the reasons the Lakers are world champions and he would be a great asset to any team.

Rudy took steve cuttino walt williams to 45 wins. That team didn't have much talent. He is by far the best at exploiting matchups.

wasnt one of our assistant coaches looking for a head coaching job?.... i think that if we decide to blow it up he might just take adelman's job.

This one isn't even close... its JVG by a mile, he would have them working hard on defense and winning close ball games. of course that they would almost certainly collapse in a close, physical 7 games series in the playoffs, but at least the team would be winning more games...

I am sure nobody here really knows which coach would be better. Everybody is just picking his favorite coach. So did I -- Rudy T!!!
