good thing i did my research and found out she liked minigolf and bowling, shes not into arcade games.
Why? They are two completely different things. D&B is nothing but arcade games and pool tables, unless you go to the one down I-10 which has bowling. He's looking for more active fun like mini-golf, etc. I'd put a vote towards Fun Tiki as well on Murphy Rd almost to Hwy 6. They have two putt-putt courses and a go-kart track with a arcade room as well. You can always go down Murphy to 90 to 59 and bowl at the Stafford Lanes afterwards if you want to do that as well since it's not that far away. I wasn't aware Incredible Pizza closed. I'm surprised as it was PACKED on the weekends. Sucks because I always took my son there for his bday every year. :-(
yeah i stopped by there the other day because of the new 99 Ranch market opening and i looked next door and saw it was closed, i used to love taking my little nephews there as it was a great value.
I've never been, but I heard Main Event can be fun. It's in Webster/NASA though. http://www.maineventusa.com/locations/locations/webster.aspx
I used to work here a while back, they have everything, but it's in Webster. There's also Mountasia by Willowbrook Mall. I worked at both of these places at one point. They both had everything, but that was a while ago, so I'm sure they've changed a bit. Pugs
If only this were Pigeon Forge, TN ...my God how many go kart/mini golf places can one small town have?! But yeah, Fun Tiki on Murphy just before Hwy 6 might be a good bet.
There's a place up off 249 called Mountasia that's got mini golf, go-karts, etc. The arcade isn't the greatest, but it's got that 1980s charm to it . . . my wife and I went once to play mini-golf, and we liked it so much I had my 30th birthday there
My wife and I went there with friends from my hometown a few years ago, at their recommendation. Worst vacation decision ever. Complete joke of a place IMO.
Anyone know why Incredible Pizza closed? I actually had a guy approach me to invest in a multimillion dollar facility in West U (proposed, not going to be built yet) that would have laser tag, putt putt, arcade+redemption, bowling etc.... But I saw the disrepair that funplex and the new defunct Celebration Station/Zuma were in and I am wondering if this is not worth the risk at all. Two questions: Anyone have any info on ICP's closing, and is Tiki place even good?
I'm not sure exactly why Incredible Pizza closed, but unfortunately the state of disrepair you speak of seems to be the fate of most of these family fun centers. I guess that's the way things get when you have several hundred children running around on a daily basis. I think ultimately these things lose their luster because once the shine wears off, folks realize that it's just the same recycled attractions.
