No offense but Milwaukee would be r****ded to trade Bogut, hes the 2nd best Center in the League at the moment and would probaly only be moved for a star in the making ala nobody on the Rockets
The second best center in the league has them in 10th place in the East with a TON of mediocre talent signed to crappy contracts. Their attendance is bad and they aren't a hot bed for FAgents. Even if they decided to try and overpay for a FAgent, they are almost assuredly going to be capped out when the new CBA is signed. If they can't make the playoffs with this group, what will one more year do? Trade Bogut, clear some space and get young players/picks to begin the rebuilding process again.
I'd be thrilled with either of those guy's .... The one thing I dont like about Bogut is he's the leagues worst FT shooter but he is the type of center the Rockets need .... Randolph would be a hell of an aquisition and would allow for Scola to come off the bench where you could mask his defensive liability.
I just don't see the Rockets turning Scola into a role player off of the bench, especially with the contract he was given. I think Scola gets traded before something like that happens.
Take a look at the Lakers with Odom coming off the bench. The money is very similar .... As for Scola , I dont think you can win a championship with him as your best post player. I love to watch the guy but .... I just think he would be a great bench player rather than just a good starter. His lack of defense hurts , add that to playing next to a 6'6" center and its amplified. Adding a guy like Randolph , Bogut , DeAndre Jordan , McGee or any of a handfull of other bigs who might be available gives you the option to have scola come off the bench making this a much better defensive team.
You might be right. I just think we need a new direction. Obviously Brooks is not that direction now and Rubio would be good if we could get him at least.
