    for one of the top hip hop artists in the world, he seems very low key. i'm not even a fan of hip hop, but i love his music.

    He's the one rapper that makes self-deprecating jokes about himself, while most others just rap about how tough and great they are.

    I loved that Chrysler Superbowl commercial he was in.

    I'm not saying that the guy isn't talented in his craft. I never typed that.

    What I'm saying is that he's pushed as this tough rapper, to my eyes. Do a Google image search of the guy and tell me that most of the pics don't come off as 'I'm a tough guy' pics.

    was edgar allan poe tough? no. But he was tormented and that's something that appeals to people, something they can relate to. When you're tormented, trying to find yourself, it usually leads to good work whether it's in literature, painting, theatre or music.
    Rap pushed me away about 8 years ago, but I still love this guy's music.
