At first I thought it was just like an everyday collision. But that seems to be serious and he ain't flopping at all. If you look at the replay, he bumped his cheek into Arenas and it looks like he knocked himself out.

*Look at when he fell, how his head knocked hard on the floor without resistance...

He jarred his neck backwards on Gil's chest. He's had past neck problems before.

Must've be that. But how he collided with Arenas doesn't seem hard at all. It could happen in everyday life...

Same thing happened to Carmelo, and everyone claimed he was flopping.

Bruised spinal cord. Out at least a month. http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/nba/news/story?id=6095978

The way you could see he was gone before hitting the floor scared the daylights out of me. When they wheeled him off, I missed seeing Daniels put his thumb up and was thinking the worst.

Daniels had a concussion on a similar sort of play in last year's ECF against Orlando. This means more pt for Von until Delonte comes back. The Celtics are deep. Both O'Neals are out, Delonte is out, Daniels is out, Perkins just came back, Rondo has missed 11 games, KG missed some games, yet they still got the best record in the East and 2nd best record in the NBA.

Here's the video from the ECF last year:

It's scary seeing stuff like that happen in sports. Hope he's okay and recovers back to full health.

At :22 you can hear someone yell "Let's go!" and again at :26 "Get up, let's go!" Wonder if he felt like an idiot after seeing him get taken out on a stretcher.

Reminds me of when Big Baby Davis got knocked out and Doc Rivers just yells him to get up lol. You can see he felt bad after.

Daniels got carried out on a stretcher due to a bruised spinal cord. Melo pretended to be injured because he was embarrased he got caught on a weak ass flop. The least he could have done is get wheeled out Pierce style before making a "full recovery".
