You know what frustrates me the most... a 24-28 record in the East... is the 7 seed.

You would think I would be used to this by now... but it still frustrates me.

It's the most frustrating thing. And it's always gonna be this way. Those Eastern teams are never going to be good. and the league is to stubborn to wake up.

I've actually been watching for awhile and I mentioned it early in the season, pre injury. Its clear he's frustrated by a variety of things from the contract to losing his job because of an injury to probably losing in general. It was very important to see how the situation would work out and brooks is failing it big time.

Gasol sulked big time in memphis and thats why he was traded for so little. There were people saying he quit on the team. A guy making max money should stand tall all the time.
Lowry was in the same siutation in memphis, but worked through it. After the damon stoudimire situation, lowry finally had a chance to start. He got hurt, the new draft pick came in the following year and got the job. He sulked, bad body language, and was traded to the rockets. Thats why I say I dont judge players by what they're doing on another team because every team is different.
Deckard, that vacationed person you speak of still just wants whats best for the rockets as do majority of us. I personally never thought brooks could be a jason terry type. Although they look similar, they're different. Terry was a good pg and effecient, but he was stuck on some bad teams. He got to dallas and they had great records and went to the finals. Brooks is more feel players vs gunner off the bench. Thoughout the flow, he will go without impacting the game, then he will all of a sudden dominate a stretch of the game.
The rockets are doing what they do right now. Brooks, unless he is combined with another contract is going to yeild another small rookie contract player. I'm good with that as long as we upgrade a position. Everyone should be on the block. Now some should be a little harder to deal like scola and martin, but everyone should be wide open for trade.

Please dont start that Francis era bs again. If we were in the east, we would be in the playoffs type of stuff. Build your team well enough to win in your conference and they wouldnt have to worry about it. Portland didnt say it this year or last year.

I know.. but doesn't it bother you that a team like Indiana right now is a playoff team?

It's just venting on my part. I like the competition in the West, but I wish it was true league wide.

Yup, agreed. I say we build like the Seahawks. Dominate the division, cruise into the playoffs...

Not really. It just means the rockets arent good enough. They need to get better and play better. They've been under .500 for awhile now. Not only that, look at the draft position.

The whole thing, with statements like "must win" and "two game difference in the standings" gave it a game 7 type of feeling.

I was at the game. I didn't even realize Brooks had walked out--I thought it was just a coach's decision to have Lowry in there at the end of regulation and overtime.

At the very least, now we have no argument over who should start at point guard...seriously, Aaron, I used to like you...now I want to buy you a new car. A Yugo Screw Yourself.
