Not a clip or anything, but my favorite episode of the series is when Sam is trying to find a place to sleep and goes from house to house. It was nice to get out of the bar and see everyone's effed up and hilarious home lives. People like to complain that the show was no good after Diane, but I far prefer the Rebecca episodes. I've always found Shelly Long to be too much of a whiny shrew for my tastes. Also might be biased because I was too young to watch from the beginning, so I only saw repeats.
^ AN-ree... what a character. I recall he and Sam were doing the phone number competition, and when he asks this chick for hers in his thick French accent, the girl is all "Ugh, I hate French guys", so Henri changes his accent and in this perfect English says: "Oh, nah, actually, I'm Chuck from Portland" I almost had it word by word: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFb3Nf6rKM0&t=1m53s My daughters and I love this show. I had to go there when I visited Boston. Also, there was a scene where Dr. Frasier explains the Far Side to Woody: Woody : reading paper, sighs. Cliff : “What’s the matter Wood?” Woody : “I don’t get the Far Side.” Cliff : with all-knowing attitude, “Woody, hand it over here, c’mon. let’s have a look.” Cliff : takes paper, “Ok, Wood, now you see here in the first panel, the cows are standing on their hind legs right?” Woody : nods while looking at paper. Cliff : “The second panel, when the car goes by they are acting like normal cows.” Woody : nods while staring expectantly at Cliff. Norm : “See the idea here is Wood, you know, cows only act like cows when we're around, other times they act like people.” Norm : “Does that help you clear it up a little bit for you?” Woody : “I just meant I don’t get The Far Side in my newspaper at home but thanks for treating me like a one year old.” Here is one more that I've shown my daughters, and they love it. As they're walking to the pool room, Woody is about to fight the rich guy trying to steal Kelly, they all chant: "WOODY! WOODY! WOODY! WOODY!" all disappear into the back, but then there's silence, ONE PUNCH, and someone appears to fall to the ground. After that, they all cheer: "RICH GUY! RICH GUY! RICH GUY!" - starts at 2:06 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNNDOZjMn3U&t=2m6s

Woody-Frasier conversations were never misses. I can't think of many Coach ones except for the one with his daughter or the one where he shows off knack for getting hit by a pitch
I liked the moment when it stopped taking up time on my television. Good riddance to such a horrid program. Now, back to watching iCarly...
Dr. Frasier Crane: There's an old real estate maxim that says the three most important things when looking for a property are location, location, location. Woody Boyd: That's just one thing. Dr. Frasier Crane: That's the point Woody. Woody Boyd: What, that real estate people are stupid? Dr. Frasier Crane: No, that location is the one most important thing in real estate. Woody Boyd: Then why do they say that it's three things? Dr. Frasier Crane: Because real estate people are stupid.
I could never stand Henri's character, but thought it was funny when I saw him on Seinfeld playing Joel Rifkin (the guy with the same name as the serial killer, so Elaine tries to convince him to change it). When I saw him, I kept asking myself "is that that Henri guy from Cheers?"
The ones with the bald-headed guy that bought the building- and then he builds a wall to close the back pool room area- all those were great, among tons of others. Running with scissors!!!!!
I'm not old enough to have watched the original run but, the few re-runs I've seen, the show just wasn't as good without Shelley Long.
I've remembered these facts about Albania for all these years. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yrz1q_zk-SU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It was a bad career move for her as the Brady Bunch Movie was still a decade away. I agree with you. For me though, the show went down (albeit only veeeery slightly) when the actor who played Coach died. They managed to fill the gap of comedic naievity with Woody, but I think his passing might be the reason I only own the first 4 seasons. To be fair, most shows can only sustain the quality for about 4 seasons. The fact that Cheers wasn't total crap at the end is a testament to the quality of characters the show featured. Sam Malone, the womanizing former major league pitcher, recovering alcoholic BAR OWNER/TENDER.... gold. Just gold. The same people made Wings, so I'm just gonna assume you all liked that show as much as I did. At least the early seasons. Again, the show went to crap when the naive character left in Lowell.
Norm: Morning, everybody! Woody: Beer, Mr. Peterson? Norm: Little early in the day isn't it, Woody? Woody: Little early for a beer? Norm: No, for stupid questions.
