We need Rice only for a year or maybe two. After he's out, the problem of sharing minutes will be solved. And by that time Nachbar we be an experienced player and HOPEFULLY Thomas stays trim. He can do so much more damage from the SF position.

    We'll have: C - Ming, Cato
    PF - Griffin, Taylor
    SF - Thomas, Nachbar
    SG - Mobely, Torres
    PG - Francis, Norris

This team is very versatile. We can do a lot of different combinations for different circumstances. For example

DEFENSE: C - Ming or Cato (for his hacking game) :D
    PF - Griffin
    SF - Thomas
    SG - Torres
    PG - Francis or Norris

    OFFENSE: C - Ming
    PF - Taylor
    SF - Nachbar
    SG - Mobely
    PG - Francis

SMALL (meaning quick): C - Ming
    PF - Nachbar
    SF - Mobely
    SG - Francis
    PG - Norris

    BIG: C - Ming
    PF - Taylor
    SF - Griffin
    SG - Nachbar
    PG - Francis

Notice how Francis and Ming are in every combination

Not sure about Not-bar at SG or PF. That might be a disaster in the making.

I agree with you! Nachbar, now that we have seen him in action, needs to be brought on slowly!

People were talking about how Nachbar would make a bigger impact in his rookie year then Yao would. But I doubt that. Nachbar looks pretty nervous so far and needs time to adjust to pro ball in the USA.

It is amazing how it is so normal now to see KT as a SF. What some of us thought was normal and possible others, like Jeff, thought otherwise. I just like to see things that you project come to pass. Another one that seem imminent is Rice playing more at the 2 spot. Let see if that happens.

    Where is TMo at?

You can't forget about TMo now that he has improved his shot.

That just proves how deep our bench is.

I can't wait to see how well the Rockets play this year with this "deep" team. We have so many more options for matching up with other teams.:D

If RT's explanation is the reason for his play so far, I wouldnt be so quick to think that Boki won't make an impact once he's 100%.
I do agree that we shouldn't just throw him in full-time, but I predict it wont take long for him to take away any doubts.

I really think the Langhi comparisons are unfair at this point..

and no Im not saying that you compared him to Air-Dan..I have seen the comparison around lately
