Then, I didn't argue anything about that, only about how you lost your FIRST EVER game at your shiny stadium and WE didn't.
You mean to tell me it was ExAcTLy ThE SaMe TeAm after 2001? No drafted players or free agents, no new receivers, coaches? ALL THE SAME? :( Sorry about that, man.

lol i would also take the moral victory if that was the biggest accomplishment my team ever had.

piss poor management by JJ and an inept head coach in campo. we took our lumps but it appears some of those are starting to pay off... it looks like the texans are finally getting it too (until they get raped on a bogus PI penalty and lose the game). i'm pretty sure that was the first go 'round with hard knocks, it's pretty well documented the players we had and the coaching we lacked.

Historically speaking, the Cowboys clearly are one of the leagues top franchises. But they have been borderline mediocore since the mid 90's (no playoff wins). I have no problem saying that they are still better than the Texans, but I wouldn't really consider either team good, or a definite playoff team. So yes, Dallas is better than the Texans....but that's like Oprah saying she is smaller than Roseanne....is it really saying much?

It looks like they fixed the party pass issue, as the cameras showed folks actually sitting down. Maybe we will here some more commentary about it tomorrow.

    That's ghey...

Cowboys looked horrible tonight and honestly don't see an end in sight...no true #1 reciever and would have been better off with T.O., yes I said it...Romo still makes *****ty decisions and now have two injured RB's...Finally got 3 sacks tonight, the first 3 after 3 games...Poor tackling, poor coverage and not sure if they can beat Denver next week...

The sad thing is, watching the Texans game on Sunday, it really looked like the Texans were going to win it the whole time. They played better than the other team, except for the half-dozed inexcusable defensive lapses which keep giving up monster plays to the other team.

That offensive PI call against the Texans at the end was a horrible call, and then it was just more of the same snake-bit bad luck.

I think they will be all right, may still end up with a winning record, and could possibly win the division, if they can just get their defensive personnel to stand in the right spots.. ugh, Manning has got to be salivating... we'll see..

I want to see the Texans do well, but seriously, the organization needs to address the secondary and stop trying to fill it with low-level talent and expect anything but low-level results. And their utter lack of a pass rush is nto doing the team any favors.

Now the NFL team who led the league last year in sacks does not use defensive ends to pressure the qb as much as linebackers who were former DL's in college who are legitimate pass-rush specialists. Victor Butler last night was yet another example of the Greg Ellis/Demarcus Ware/Anthony Spencer style of drafting and plugging these guys in.. although Spencer has yet to really bring any results, so we'll see.

My sister and her husband traveled to the game last night. I'll have to talk to her and see what they thought about the stadium.

Meh. I live up here in Dallas (yes pity me) and this doesn't seem as bad as the practice field catastrophe. The way the local news here advertises the story makes me sick. They totally pimp out this dude "He was paralyzed by the practice facility collapse...now he talks to Dallas Channel 4 and reveals his pain..."

    Shameless.

    Dallas blows.*

Was at the stadium two weekends ago...very impressive stadium and put reliant to shame. The 50 yard long tv screen is sick.

There is no such thing as a curse, Dr of Dunk.

You accurately stated the cause of the accident in your previous post. The workers failed to follow safety precautions.

I should never again stretch the truth in pursuit of humor.

It's kind of distracting, it's almost too big. Went for the thanksgiving day game, it's an impressive structure

A few pics I took below, put a spoiler on it because the pics might be a bit large and they got my ugly mug on the

Yep. Turns out you were right. Weather certainly has had no impact on the Super Bowl festivities in Dallas.

It's been nothing but 61 degrees every stinking day of Super Bowl week. Just like the Weather Channel said was the average for the whole month (which, as we know, "average" means that every day of the month will be that temperature).

I apologize for even pretending that there was a possibility of ice storms and the like during Super Bowl week in Dallas. Clearly, I was just digging myself further and further into a hole. I'm just glad I didn't say something ridiculous like about how people might be injured by ice falling off the roof of the stadium because that would've clearly been impossible.

Now I'm going to go outside and enjoy this beautiful warm weather.

Speaking of Cowboys Stadium... snow falling off of the roof injured 6 people today. Weather impact!

EDIT: I guess that's what the poster above me bumped this thread for.

Considering the last time he posted was in this thread, I think it's safe to say this is falling on deaf ears.

And did you seriously come back from a 10 month hiatus just to find this? Where have you been?

It'll be funny if it's 60 and sunny for the 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl.

Assuming that 2012 isn't the end of the world, of course.
