He's currently shooting at 40% for the season, leading the league. The same as what Brooks did last season. I was thinking AB could be included but he's having an off year so that's probably a no go. How do you think KMart would fair? Paul Pierce is going to be back for sure, and he challenged Ray Allen publicly, so their is the possibility the specialist himself could be in it as well. Morrow would be another good choice.

I think Martin will be more well suited if there is a 3-point play contest.

As a Rockets fan... YES! Absolutely.

But because the Rockets are "irrelevant," I don't think they would include Kev Mart.

I just realized Martin probably has an advantage in the 3 point contest because of his ugly form.

While other players have to pick up the ball and then go into his shooting motion, Martin's shooting motion begins when he picks it up from near his hip, and it wouldn't ruin his shot.

    Redick
    Korver

Martin can't shoot without the refs calling fouls.

Yeah it's ridiculous if he's not going to be included. Martin is a great shooter and I bet he would smoke Pierce and Allen.

Pierce is the defending champ, and Love's shooting 44% from 3-pt range this season (10th best in the NBA). He's already hit 65 3s, more than Morrow, House, Nash, and Gay.

Is there a 3-point-on-the-fastbreak shootout? :D 'Cause he is like 98% or something on those. It's ridiculous.

He has a slow wind-up on his release though, so that might be a disadvantage for him.

Unless there was a guy in front of him getting his wrist slapped on the release, resulting in 3 free throws each time.

    Martin should definitely do it.

The only problem is that he'll make it to the final round then do his disappearing act again.

As they alluded to, probably better off in the Free Throw shooting contest. Oh wait... :p
