Depends on what the price is for him. Who would we have to give up? I would love to have him back. His tenure with the rockets was great and I know that he'd love to be back in Houston with Rick Adelman.

3 years 21 million for a guy who averages 8 ppg, 3 rpg and 2 apg all while shooting 40 percent...

he was great when he was playing in Sac. I guess with Martin onthe floor, he won't take a lot of 3s.

I'm sure Lakes will be salivating to get Scola. But that's too much consider that Bynum is fragile.

I would do it. Scola is in his 30's. We get bigger, tougher and better defensively. Artest would be better here. Lakers would have a scary 3 headed monster with Gasol, Scola and Kobe not to mention the year Odom is having.

With that contract he has, the Lakers are going to have to throw some other talent in for cheap to swing a deal. I like Ron, but so glad Lakers are stuck with him and not us.

Lakers want a point guard, could get that combo for for Brooks or Lowry plus Battier & JJ instead of Scola.

But Even though I love Ron Ron, he is not our biggest need right now, & Bynum is an injury prone player. Not wise move.

If we could get a McGee or Dalembert in a separate trade, I'd pull the trigger.

Absolutely not. Artest brings nothing to the table anymore except a horrible contract. It was fun while it lasted but the landscape of the team has changed dramatically.

This team is in rebuild mode, Artest and his contract does nothing to help.

I voted no, but if we traded battiers, jeffries, and yao for a good, young big with some good solid backups, maybe trading the for artest with one of our TE's wouldn't be so bad.

Yes! Adding Ron to Martin/Battier would be nice. They could do it for Jeffries and a 2nd round pick.

Heck no to washed up Ron.

Jackson is a huge lover of big PGs that are good 3 pt threats, he wouldn't be interested in Brooks and is unlikely to like Lowry much more.

Washed up. And for what? They arent getting Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, or Brooks for him. So what would they get? Maybe Battier for Artest straight up is the best they could get..
