But Wallace said himself that he was a knucklehead during his sactown days. He didn't really light it up in Charlotte his first year either. Wallace needed to mature and I guess T-Will does also.

RA, you are waiting for consistency from some of the worst consistent players (kyle, shane, brooks, bud, martin in the 4th) not looking for it. Remember when we won with Ish as the only uninjured PG, then you never played him when Lowry came back and said we played with great intensity (aka ish).

That is the truth Williams does need to mature like I said I am not too thrilled how he tweets and RTs others about his playing time. Hopefully he can see how a lot of the other guys put in their work and time before seeing the court, one thing Adelman has shown in Houston that he'll play guys only when he feels they can contribute on the floor. You aren't going to see a lot of "lets see how this guy does" in non-blowout games. Thats why the Rockets use the D-League so much

Clutchfans, where a guy with a proven history with the team who is going through a funk gets thrown off the island, and a guy with zero history anywhere is proclaimed heir-to-the-throne.

Okay, enough with this ----> Willams has trouble grasping the offense. There is no big complicated offense here. Honestly, I wish there was that type of offense here with constant screens, cuts and passing. Our offensive scheme IMO mainly consist of:

    1. The PG or SG either trying to go one-on-one to create offense for themselves or for someone else.
    2. Picks and rolls between the PF and PG above the FT line.
    3. Dumping the ball down to Scola to go one-on-one on the low post.
    4. The read and react screen in one of the corners between the SG and PG, which is normally only effective if Miller or Hayes is at the FT to find cutters.
    5. The occasional screen set up to free up either Martin or Bud for a jump shot.

I truly wish we had a "complicated" offense where there were many screens and cuts, but it seems that a lot of time, it is just 4 people standing on the perimeter and one person trying to beat the defender one-on-one and I believe that puts our players at a disadvantage. So I just don't buy he can't grasp the offense, because IMO, there unfortunately is just not that much to it. If he was able to flourish in Coach Pitino's system at Louisville which is a lot more involved than this Lassiez-faire one-on-one dominated offense, he can definitely handle what we currently do.

This is so dumb. It has to be a power play between morey and ab's camp. Morey wants ab to raise his value to trade him and ab is just unhappy in general about his contract situation.

Otherwise, this is so ridiculous not to play twill. We are not a playoff team. We are nowhere close to being a championship contender. Point blank, we suck. Play the damn man.

One line-up i would like to see is:
    Brooks
    Williams
    Battier
    Scola
    Hayes

    or

    Lowry
    Martin
    Williams
    Scola
    Hayes

Williams would flourish in these types of line-ups with the Rockets, as currenly constructed.

and it has something to do as well with the opponent for not playing twill.

we're playing the Champ people.... so it's no time to experiment.

I can't wait when that line-up of AB, Martin, and Lowry get destroyed on the defensive end. And then you may have Scola out there as well  I do not want to see that line up my friend.

its not like we are competing for anything.. You can only prove your self if given the chance and from the outside looking in it doesnt look like RA has given Twill a chance.

Not that I dislike Adelman but...

There's also a reason the cliche "can't see the forrest for the trees" has existed for centuries.

I don't know about a power-play, but I do think the contracts are relevant. We've got T-Will for a couple more seasons. We're in no hurry with him. We can bring him along slow.

Brooks is a free agent this off-season. He needs the playing time to get out of his funk and earn his next contract. We need him to get out of the funk too to increase his value and everyone else's value as assets. And given what he's accomplished with the team the last 2 seasons, it's not a stretch to think that's possible. It makes sense for the team to give him plenty of rope.

"I think it's really important to get Aaron going. He means a lot when the game is on the line. He's been kind of up-and-down. We have to get him where he is confident going into the end of the game."

Translation-We've got to put AB in the game and give him pt no matter how bad he's playing because we've got to showcase him to the other teams that we'll potentially trade him to.

You know you can make AB start playing better by playing others for minutes, hence Twill.
