I thought Ish being re-called to the Rockets meant Brooks was gone!!!! Does this mean the trade fell through?!?

We were joking.. the thread about Ish returning to the Rockets included several posters who thought it meant that a trade was in the works. Nevermind that Ish is our 14th best player on the roster -- if he's getting called up to the Rockets, we must be trading one of our best guys!

I look forward to the next batch of rumors once Ish is recalled again.

I was hoping he would go back to the RGV only because I want him to be playing in the Vipers game I plan on going to next week. lol.

I assume he was only called up in the first place because they had a couple extra practice days at home and RGV didnt have a very thick schedule at that time. Plus I believe Shakur got called up too so there might be minutes for him in the valley. A trade wont happen till Feb 24th or the 25th at the deadline. 23 more days guys.

How many more times can he go back down/come back up?

Surprised it wasnt done before this road trip, allows him to play some more games and all...The team doesnt really get in too many intense practices on road trips so playing in actual games down over in RGV will only help him.

I don't believe there is a limit on the number of times you can send someone down and recall them. The only limits, to my knowledge, deal with players with three years or more experience -- in which case they would have to consent to being sent down.

No, there is a limit to how many times Ish can be sent down. I think it is about 3 or 4 times. It usually isn't a problem, though.

We would've done better to send AB down.

The biggest story this year for rockets has been Ish going to D-league and than coming back and than going back again.

All folks anticipating trade ... but all silent on the trade front. I think all GM are scared of Morey's Judi mind tricks after NY trade.

Man, if something big doesn't go down in terms of a trade, then I fully except to see Ish, TWill, Pat, Lee, Hill, and Bud get a butt load of minutes the rest of the season.

Why wont the Rockets send T-Will down to the Vipers??? If he needs more development, then let him at least play some kind of competitive basketball instead of rotting on the bench. If the move to get him was a long term investment, then let him at least play with the Vipers and improve his shot or learn the system more while being active in it... Sitting on the bench does him no good whatsoever!

AB would have to agree to go down.
